Krispy Kremes had this donut that I absolutely adored. It was in the shape of a crescent, stuffed with Bavarian creme, drizzled with glaze or chocolate, or both if you wanted... I loved it. But apparently, there were a lot of complaints. The donut got removed from the market after they first shrunk its size. I had difficulty finishing one in one sitting - but that made it good for a snack-able item while I sat at my computer.

And yeah, Dairy Queen is way over-priced. That's partially due to the fact that they do have so few stores. They would be forced to lower their prices if they had more stores, because then they'd have to make more income to cover the cost of the new stores... yadda-yadda. Basically, fewer stores = higher prices because it becomes a sort of delicacy.

Don't get me started on Krispy Kreme. My family is from Kentucky and that was were Krispy Kreme franchise started. My family is big on anything from Kentucky (KFC, Kentucky Durby, Hatfield-McCoy stuff, Kentucky Wildcat Basketball). Sucks that we can't find any Krispy Kreme in any of the stores; not that I'm complaining cause Dunkin Donuts is pretty good.

I used to wish we had a Sonic's near my house but one got built near our local mall. There was still one in my state but it was all the way down south, 2 hours away. Now that we have it, I realize the food is not really that special.

With them nearby, we now have a Chik-N Fil-a, White Castle, Chipotle, Olive Garden, Ruby Tuesday, and Sonic's all within 5 minutes in driving distance nearby.

I suppose we could use a Red Robins nearby; I tried one on vacation with a huge deluxe turkey burger, and found it to be just amazing! But I do not know I would want it that often; I generally do not eat fast food much. If I am lucky, I will have Chik n fil-a once a week.

I didn't even know about Chick-a-fillet until this year. I don't even know of one within one hour of me. Sounds like it is good, but I have never once, in my life, seen one.

if you take the drama you hear in the news out of the equation, Chik-n Fil-a is a very good place to eat. Best chicken I have tasted, great sauces, awesome waffle fries, and the workers at my two local restaurants have always been civil to the least (but usually outwardly friendly). They even have lots of giveaways, such as receipts that link you to a survey to take on your experience that day and get a free sandwich. Last Christmas time, they had an offer where whatever you buy on one day you could get all for free on a specific date the next week. We got 40 dollars in food last year for that, having leftovers for lunch the next day and such.
