For me this would probably be Strike witches although I wouldn't really reccomend it unless you're okay with ecsessive female nudity but It turned out to be pretty d*** good but eh, I've always kind of like the short 12 of so long series a bit more that the 100+ episode long series but eh whatever to each his/her own right?

For m it would be Samurai 7 didn't suspect much but it got exciting.

Part One and Two.

I wrote the third part of that movie trilogy in one weekend.
Sadly I'm not a "Hollywood Buff."
So the thing will never get made but I had an Idea for "Via" of that show to produce a child that would end "Geist". They met in the first one. She was "Preggers" for the second movie. I decided to write a third one with a new character that was fully grown to be able to end "Geist."
Silly Idea for A Show. But It was a product of my generation that I understood.
Many Gems Like This Go Un-Noticed.

Eden of the east I didn't think it would be all that good but when I started watching it I was very impressed with the story.

All of the ones I have seen and liked.
The ones I do not like I do not bother remembering.
There are many.
Some of the ones I dislike have great video games but terrible shows.

Back to the responce that is requested??
The one I was impressed with the most was "Lupin the 3rd". I thought it was going to be stupid style comedy and no plot or action.

Second Place goes to "Dirty Pair. Project Eden."
With the Two Girls on the Cover of the Box or posters or whatever..I had the idea it was going to be a silly show with no real story. Just another fake "T&A" show with stupid humor. ("Fan service" show.)

A great show with cunning wit, humor, fantastic action, Plot, and a good twist or two.

Findexx : I would actually say the anime Blue Dragon. I thought that show would suck really bad but it turned out quite alright. That show wasn't half bad when I got used to it especially when I found out it was written by Akira Toryoma the guy who wrote Dragon Ball Z. I was really shocked when I saw his name and what was crazy is that I was a bunch of episodes ahead when I saw that name. Do you know about the show Blue Dragon. I only said that I didn't like it at first because I thought the characters were ripping off Dragon Ball Z. Turned out it wasn't lol.

The anime I had low expectation's for but turned out great would be Angel Beats. I thought it was going to be horrible because it really didn't have much of a purpose to continue watching at the beginning, but it picked up after the 5th episode.

I had my doubts for Ouran High School Host Club, but it turned out to be pretty good
