Most of you may not know this, but while red, blue, and green where being worked on, venonat was going to evolve into butterfree. and Metapod evolved into Venomoth. beleive me, its true.
I see no similarities with Caterpie, Metapod, and venomoth, but Venonat and Butterfree look VERY similar. the eyes, the mouth, the feet, and the hands look similar. what do you people think of this?

Honestly, in my opinion? I think that makes far more sense than the current evolutionary chain. I would have never noticed the similarities on my own. What about Beedrill? How does it and Kakuna compare? Any facts on that one?

Ktanaqui : i dunno about them, i does make no sense that a worm evolves into a bee. anyways, you look at the kanto dragon family. you see that gyarados looks like dratini and dragonair. originally, magikarp would evolve into Dragonite, and dragonair would evolve into gyarados.

Wow. Maybe you should make this thread about Swapped Evolutions in general?  I can see the Butterfree-Venomoth switch much easier than I can the Magikarp-Dratini switch. Mostly because Magikarp doesn't look like it evolves into Dragonite much.

That's funny; where are you pulling this information from, anyhow? Those are -really- accurate for what the individual creatures are. (lol) I heard about Lapras a long time back... several years. I had completely forgotten about it until now.

I'm making a pokemon- before it happened thread, so this one's gotta go.
Could this be closed?
