This has been a battle for at least 20 years. Mario or Luigi. I just seem to find Luigi more enjoyable solefully for the fact that he's the underrated shadow of Mario. He's awesome.

Luigi is better than mario, int the fact that he is finally becoming more popular than his shorter red brother.   Mario's been in the spotlight for quite some time but that leaves us all to really wonder what's wrong with Luigi? All he ever got was Luigi's mansion which really wasn't a great game; although I do have to mention i personally don't find many of the newer games to be that good anyway, Super Mario Sunshine was pretty good but that just seems to be the last good game out of Nintendo when it comes to the Mario Bros. franchise.  Luigi deserves a better game then Luigi's Mansion, and finally a shot at the spotlight that his brother has hogged since day one.

In my opinion, Luigi is better than Mario. He's faster, able to jump higher, and possibly faster than Mario. He has such potential to be as epic of a video game character as his older brother. Luigi's Mansion I've never played, but I'm pretty sure I don't wan play a game about the idealistic video game character's brother sucking ghost in a  vacuum cleaner. But he should have his own spin-off series, other than Luigi's Mansion. I think a good Luigi game would be cool. Mario has like 200. Luigi, 2. It really would be better if the green wonder got some recognition.

I'm surprised that Luigi is winning. I go with Mario, just because he looks cooler. In Super Mario World, I never used Luigi, but for SMB lost levels, and SM Galaxy 2, I use Luigi whenever I can, but just because his jump. I would still want to use Mario.

Luigi has been treated like toilet paper in the Mario saga. Even in RPG's when Luigi is made a fool of. A lot of people will agree with this. I lose interest in Mario every time I think about it.

Luigi because of Luigi's mansion and his awesome rides on Mario kart and such.

Between Mario and Luigi, I got to go with Luigi because even know Mario is the head guy in the series, but if it wasn't for Luigi, then we wouldn't see a whole lot of Mario games. not just that, but I also like Luigi's jumping height and hang-time, he's got a lot more than Mario has.
