psychohawk : Thanks for the feedback, I myself also have a ton of great memories and I feel like I've created more than just a gaming site, I've also created a huge community. It's like we're all in 1 big living room playing games together and that especially is even more true with the recent release of netplay.

Sorry about your grandfather but that did make me realize something. Some of the games that some of us grew up playing were bad compared to today's standards but the memories that were made while playing those games are so precious that it makes playing those games worth playing again. In other words, every game in the RGR contains a special memory for someone, whether it's a good game or a bad game and for most people, vizzed is the best way those users can relive those memories.

GAME_OV_ : And I like to hear that because I grew up loving the old games and I don't want them to be forgotten. Most of the users of this site would never get a chance to experience some of these classics if it weren't for vizzed.

Davideo7 : I'll come out and say it. I feel link I harass you a lot about certain things (Especially in private) but I do hope you know that it is because I actually care about this community. As I've said before, I came here because it seemed like Yet Another Acmlmboard, but after being here the better part of a year, clearly there's more to it. You've managed to keep this board running longer than almost any other board I know of, and although I disagree with some of your management decisions, clearly you're doing something right.


Alright enough of this touchy-feely bull malarky. Everybody's banned forever. Show's over, folks, nothing to see here.

Lazlo Falconi : Thanks, means a lot to hear you say positive stuff like that. Yeah, this board is much more than an Acmlm Board and actually the acmlm code makes up a minority of the overall site code. I'm glad that I've been able to help keep the acmlm community alive in some way though because the community isn't what it use to be, every year it slowly dies a little more.

Well, Thanks David for making this awesome site... I know that's getting repeated a lot, but. It's still worth of being said.

I gotta said that David your are one of the best person out there, because you are so kind to people everywhere, want them to be treated right , and create vizzed so people could play the games they play as a kid.

I'm a fairly new member of vizzed, only just discovered the site in august.. But since discovering this site I soon have made it my homepage, I visit every single day, and I really want to work to be a contributing member of the vizzed community.

I don't think even just a simple thread can express most of our gratitude to davideo7 for his creation. These games have become a small part of a lot of us for all the good memories they have brought us. A lot of my most fond childhood memories come from video games, especially the bond video games created between me and my brother who otherwise we probably would just fight if we didn't share the common interest. I was just visiting my family for the first time in a few months tonight and me and my brother got to discussing video games and it was funny because the rest of my family was kind of listening in and you could tell they all thought we were gigantic nerds, my sister even told us so. But for some people like myself, who are comfortable with the 'nerd' stereotype , we take that as a joke, or I do anyway. I guess because I've always been the athletic 'jock' type being called a nerd doesn't really bother me, lol. I would rather be called a nerd than a meathead.

Anyway, from what I've seen of you davideo7 you are a man of your word, which is very admirable to me. A lot of things that you do to improve vizzed , is things that most other people wouldn't invest their time and money into, but it shows amazing character that you do make these investments. I hope from this thread you know that your hard work doesn't go unnoticed and the vizzed community is grateful to have such a quality leader.

LegolasJJH : I can definitely relate with you about the fond childhood memories. That was a very motivating post, I really appreciate the positive feedback.

It's a lot of fun being part of an active community where people aren't trying incessantly to lock out new users. This is, quite literally, the friendliest community that I've ever been a part of - with a wide age range, which also makes it refreshing. The only other large Board that I had the opportunity of being a member was rather closed and mean to new players. Vizzed? Definitely not.

You've done a wonderful job with Vizzed, Davideo7. I am loving it, as seen by the 500 posts in one month. Because of you, I've had the opportunity to play games that I've never played before as well as re-introduce games that I loved and missed dearly to my schedule. Because of Vizzed, I've actually gotten into series of games that I never knew existed as well as games that I was aware of but never had the money to actually obtain.

Vizzed is absolutely amazing, David - and for that, a million thanks to you. I am eternally grateful to you.

Ktanaqui : Thanks. Yeah I've always tried to keep this place friendly and I hope the staff continue to help me achieve that goal. I've tried posting on many other forums before and I know exactly what you mean when you say that new users are usually mistreated on most other boards.
