Wow it's been a while since the last response, when will the adventure be updated?

Anyways, Leggy has the right to update whenever he feels like it.  Just give him time.

Could I ask le Vizzards (I'll call 'em derps for short) to not use this thread to spam and make easy, uninteresting posts?

We're trying to hardcore role play here, so we don't have time for your frivolous spam. Leggy has to add new characters into the story while still keeping track of the stats and inventory of 8+ others. The updates will come, it's not like leggy's next post is Dawnguard for PS3.

It's not that simple.

It's possible for luck to influence a critical attack or defense, and it's also possible to miss the spider entirely. On top of that, it's also possible to do less damage based on the results of a die roll.

Yeah, I'm going to have to say no. I reserve the right to deny entry to anyone from the game as I have to stay active and involved with each member. I can't say I'm terribly interested in letting you join, especially given your lack of notability on the board. Don't think you'd be able to keep up.

Eh, I think I'll save MP this round and simply attack Spider 3.

During the battle, while everyone was fighting, Teej slipped out through the back, without any explanation. Also, Aaron went out of his way to stop a spider from crushing Seishiro Leonhart, however, was trapped behind an avalanche following the stomp. Both are presumed dead, and Seishiro Leonhart, after dusting himself off, joins the party.

: HEY GUYS! THANKS FOR SAVING ME!

As he said this, there was a collective groan.

: Are you really going to be speaking in all caps the entire time?

: WHAT DO YOU MEAN, THIS IS MY INSIDE VOICE!

: I'd hate to hear your outside voice... it might cause an avalanche.

So the group adventured onward from the bowels of this mini cave, confident they had passed the tutorial. Confident they had pleased Leggy.

Or had they?

The group marched for what seemed like hours. There were signs that had directions... although there was only ever one way to go. It was awfully linear for a dungeon, but hey, it was the first one.

Then something miraculous happened. They started walking upwards. No, not like a slope upwards, but they were literally walking vertically on a wall. They weren't sure when it started to happen, but it did.

Eventually, they even found themselves walking upside down with blood rushing to their heads.

What in the world was going on?

Later, in their walk, they found a shadowy figure in the distance. No matter how much they tried to catch up to him, he was always the same constant distance away. When they stopped moving, so did he. When they walked left, he walked left.

Soon, someone had the bright idea to walk backwards. The figure followed suit.

After what seemed like an eternity, the group orchestrated a brilliant plan.

There were 7 of them, and only 1 of him. 3 would walk forward, and 4 would walk backwards. Eventually, math caught up, and the group of 3 caught up to the one and grabbed on, so the others could catch up.

: Thanks for helping me... I've been stuck down here for ages.

They walked and talked, and they found out a little about each other. Like the fact he had escaped the harsh unforgiving landscape of Lost City and the surrounding land. How he had tried to escape the entity known as Oblivion.

: That is complete nonsense... for one, Oblivion isn't real, and for two, if he was, the legend goes that he can't be escaped by anyone, not even Leggy.

There on out, there was a lengthy diatribe about how Oblivion was essentially the god of the world they lived in, the one who created the landmass, and allowed life on it, but in exchange polluted it with monsters.

: So it's kind of like the Law of Equivalent Exchange?

: Not quite.

A raccoon had come across their path.

Again, they went around and got to know each other better, but ultimately none of it matters. They then returned to the topic of Oblivion and the theory of how life came to be on this island.

: You see, life predates even Leggy on this land. It's only called Leggy Land because he put law over the land.

They all had a sudden thought...

Leggy might not be trying to fight his own army... he might be trying to fight Oblivion. It's crazy, but in this world, anything is legitimately possible.

Eventually things grew lighter. After days of marching, they had finally proven to themselves they were making progress. One surprising fact came to light over the days. There were NO monsters aside from those spiders they fought earlier. It's almost like it was planned. All of it.

They hit a dead end.

They frantically searched for an exit, but couldn't find anything. They had no choice but to wait for death.

: So why are you all sitting there?

... really?

: So I see you are all just wondering what on Earth is going on. Well I'm not telling you. Bye bye!

A trap door. Again. Except it was in the ceiling. And it sucked them upwards.

They landed at the room they began in. Leggy's office at the top of Leggy City.

: Here are your IDs yo.

All members of the party gain Leggy City ID!

: Oh, and here is some cash to get you started.

You each gain 100 gold.

: Now get out of my office.

You get out of his office.

So now you are left to your own designs in Leggy City. You can do pretty much anything. You also don't have to all agree. You are free to go wherever, do whatever. When Leggy wants you, he will find you. He always has, and always will.
