Definitely Big, Big the Cat, I remember when playing Sonic Adventure, after finishing 5 story lines, and the only one left was Big, I was like: "Well, here goes nothing...". And in Twinkle Park, I was like: "... Seriously...?". I mean FISHING, and the controls were weird, and a little hard to use. I just played it to get to the final story, I even thought to leave it like that, but I just HAD to finish it.




I guess next would be Charmy(?), I mean only for his voice, and because he only flies around. But he isn't in many games (without counting Cameos, collectibles, and stuff):

I mean, could be worse.




And about Shadow, his character lost it's purpose, now he's just a dark guy with no real goal. I haven't played Shadow the Hedgehog, nor I finished playing Sonic 06 but I kind of know how it goes.

I hate no Sonic characters,I dislike some though. Emerl was a giant story plot character in Sonic Battle,he's useless and barely has his own moves! That's all. 

I think my least favorite is probably Chip from Sonic Unleashed because he's always whining like a wuss. Not to mention he constantly eats sweets all the time. You'd think he would get fat in the game. Oh well.

First off Big the Cat isn't stupid. He flew Tails's broken plane and lived in Sonic Adventure, but my most hated character in any sonic game has to be Jet the Hawk from the sonic riders series. Jason Grifith is a terrible voice actor and I hate his voice especially when he did Jet. I also don't care for his face or how he keeps a tool like Storm the Albatross around when his voice is even more annoying than Jet's.

I don't like the Chaotix and Big. They're so annoying. I don't mean to offend anyone who likes the Chaotix or Big or both.

The sonic character that i don't like has to be shadow the hedgehog. Its not i don't much like him its that im tired of people jumping on the bandwagon for that guy i knew a person that liked sonic before his friend started likeing shadow.

I would have to say the big fat cat. He is just useless in the every game that have him, and I don't like fishing for hours. It was so boring, and also why he is in a sonic game when the only thing he do is fish for a frog, and get lost.

One Sonic character I simply can't stand is Amy Rose!
Just like Big the Cat, Amy has no reason whatsoever for being in any of the Sonic games, especially the Sonic Adventure series.

Here is a small example of why she is hated: You know the first Tails VS. Eggman fight from Sonic Adventure 2? Well the main reason that fight began was because of Eggman trying to take her hostage or Tails trying to rescue her.

Thanks for ruining some of the better boss battles.
Also, in Sonic '06 (yes I'm talking about that game now), Amy thought that Silver was Sonic. Are you freaking kidding me?!

I don't typically approve of "hate" threads but there is actually one character in the Sonic franchise that really should have never been made and the fact that they reused him as much as they have is really a big mistake...

That is Big the Cat. He's a stupid character, a stupid concept, and adds no real value to the story at all. He sounds like a retard every time he speaks and pretty much acts like one. Sega would do well to pretend he never existed if you ask me >.>

Also... are all the people who are dissing Charmy's voice talking about the latest Charmy from like Generations? Because I really LIKE that voice. Older version of Charmy (Heroes, Shadow) weren't that great, I agree... but I hope everyone doesn't feel the newest Charmy sounds annoying :/

I'm afraid I have to agree with the thread creator on this one. If there's ANY character I'd want to burn out of all of the ones in the series, it's Charmy the Bee. Only thing he's good for is being the flying member of Team Chaotix in Sonic Heroes. That's it. Even Marine from Sonic Rush Adventure serves more of a purpose in my eyes than him.

Big would be a close second, if only because he seems out of place, and for other reasons which for personal and non-personal reasons I can't divulge here.

I hate quite a lot of them. Let's see, Big the Cat, Charmy Bee, Blaze the Cat, Silver, Cream, and more. I just can't think of more, but I know there are.
