Does it work to have a control created for several systems(like SNES, NES, GENESIS, GAMEBOY) at the same time or do i have to create new controlpadfile everytime ?

I cant figure out how to play the c64 games could you help me out. Im sure the mistake is on my end. This is the message on the board I am seeing-Im trying to play wasteland.

You must press 'Reset' to start the game

Controls vary depending on game, since this is a computer based system,
it may use any key but Shift, Ctrl, Enter/Return and Spacebar are the
primary keys
This is like the "start" menu
What on earth does it mean Reset?

snes doesnt work with my controller, I do the esc, config, input but when i get there the only thing I can do is push tab to switch it to different ports and check mark the letters that are underlinded but I cant configure it to my ps3 controller like I can with N64 and gameboyadvance

MarioMcFly : If you download the RGR plugin you don't have to worry about this, and controllers will work with any System that the plugin works for (which I think is most of them)

Jordanv78 : How do I program it to work with my controller? From what I understand, the XPadder thing I've been told about only works for programming controllers to work with NES, Game Boy, and Game Boy Color games. How do I program it with other systems?

My controller is brand new and its brand name is Frisby. It looks like a PS2 controller, enough said.
