My friend told me something about Sony making a game that would be kind of like Super Smash Brothers.  Well I happen to find out what that game was called.  I am not too surprised about this, but as soon as the game comes close to releasing, I am curious to see who is in the game.  Here is a link to it:

I always liked smash bros, i wasnt about to buy a wii to play it though, im glad ps3 is making its own one.

To me it's a pretty cool thing to know that Sony is jumping in on their own little smash bros game. It won't be Super Smash Bros, but I dont by any means think it will be a failure.

I know that a lot of people with PS3's will buy this game. Should be a fairly entertaining one. I hope Sony represents all the eras, from the original PlayStation to the PS3. I mean, if they can get Crash, Spyro, Ratchet, and Jak, that would be pretty awesome. Parappa already has me marking out just a small bit.

Game reviewer Kightwing01 (I watch his news all the time) is actually looking forward to this game despite the fact that, he himself said, there is nothing new in this. What makes this game appealing are the playable characters alone. The game has no features that were seen in Smash Bros. or any of the game's clones. The game does not have full potential of high definition that it could have reached. That's it; it's just the characters that makes this exciting to others.

Because of this, I am disappointed. I did not have any interest in purchasing this game, and I never... Crash Bandicoot could possibly be playable? Lord knows how much I want that series to end.

This looks like it may be a good game. It will be awesome to get more games for the Vita (if they release the game for it). Also, I think it may have been a good idea for them to take user input through a poll or something on the characters they included.

patar4097 : it's only characters in PlayStation games. You should check the list of characters that's going to be in it. They have announced more. If your not a PlayStation fan, then you shouldn't bother getting it.

I saw the game it looks alright but it does pretty much mimic super smash bros, not thtat I mind I always thought it would be cool to have a Sony/ Playstation version fighting game come out. The demo released and judging from it isn't like Super Smash Bros that much. 1 the only way to kill is using your AP (or super) attacks. AP is gained through attacks and items. The roster is only 6 on the demo though. You would usually find people with Kratos and Radec

In early months of it's existence, pictures of the Dev team had copies of Super Smash Bros. so that they can take the code and use (essentially) that same engine to build their game.

Another thing is that after the E3 commercial, the YouTube tags even said "Super Smash Bros, Wii, and Nintendo" in them.
