Qui Gon Jinn, definitely. He is such a wise yet innovating Jedi. He's mindful of what's good yet he doesn't just look at the order as a final product, and does things that are unorthodox to the order for the greater good. Calm and confident. That is what really makes Episode I quite a letdown because a character like that got killed while the then Obi Wan was quite whinny for a Jedi, though he was still a padawan.
