I actually think that the creator of this thread is talking about whether the movies about zombies are possible in real life. I would say that no, I do not think that is possible at the current moment, but hey, who knows? There might be some alien that knows what to do to a person to make it under it's will even if the human is dead, LOL.

So while you might hypothesize that the walking dead is possible, I would really be inclined to say that it is not really that probable at all. I do not expect such a thing to happen for several thousand years to come, LOL.

What would actually be even be more probable is that humans do this to themselves.

I don't think it would make a good movie, personally. Too many important events happen over a long period of time. You couldn't really cover all the important details in a normal sized movie. I mean, each episode is already over 45 minutes long, so how can you sum all that up in a movie that will last maybe 1 hour longer than a normal episode? That is like trying to fit this series in 2 1/2 episodes. It would suck. 

Now, it could be possible to maybe do a spin off movie. Maybe a movie that shows the events of the group that we didn't see. Maybe a movie that showed how the original group came together and escaped into the woods before they eventually run into Rick. But even that doesn't sound like it would make a good movie.

I think it could be possible but as someone else said on here it wouldn't really matter because the shows are too long and you couldn't really sum it all up unless you made it like a series of movies that all interconnect and show things that were not already explained. Like the childhoods or some part of a different country with all new survivors. Maybe even have a movie about how it first came to infect everyone or something along those lines. 

A military outfit would make for a good movie and they some how meet the original survivors on their escapades of killing undead. But that has already been done in countless other movies. So I don't think people would bite for that.

If they could out do the special effects and make it sort of more a action movie then I would be impressed but I think it wouldn't really put the time and/or money into releasing a kind of movie like that.

I would watch it because of my love for zombies but it probably would be a seat shifter sort of movie for me. hmm.. This probably wouldn't turn out to be the best flick either, but there's always the option of doing an animated joint based directly off the comics. The show deviates from the graphic novel in a number of different ways. but the animation would be worth it in itself, if they got the right team on it.

I love TWD TV Series to pieces, but god no should it have a movie.

A TWD movie would be awful, plain and simple. They can only squeeze so much into it's usual 1hour time slot, and I just simply think that it wouldn't work. 

Even TWD Game couldn't squeeze so much into the time period it had, which is why it was released in episodes.. and I've no clue how they're gonna go about doing the FPS unless it's quite short, which I can see it being.

I actually loved the walking dead movie.. I only have watched a couple of episodes from the series.. seeing as I'm never home on airing day.. missed to many episodes that I don't watch it anymore. I don't think something like this would ever happen, but you never know a zombie outbreak could happen at random .. just at the fate of humanity.

I think there is the possibility, I can tell there would be many who would like to watch it. However is it like a movie on the channel or like a theater movie? Also, it'd better be some good plot, and being a comic fan and being used to things happening after the credits there better be something like a cameo after the credits. Say, the introduction of a new character, or the return of a old one.
