I Have downloaded some playstation1 files that have an ".emu" extension and when I try to open them they crash. I was looking for some help with this extension, I googled it and it says that it is an emulator extension, what do I need to do to play them.

As I suspected it an ECM file, not an EMU file. You could have saved me the download and just answered my question the first time

Anyway. ECM is another type of compression for CD images.

The FREE program from that site will let you uncompress it and then you should have a working bin file.

it is normal because there are many of them : bin , iso ,img ...
