We all saw this coming eventually, Activision making a sequel to a game that they made that trampled their last game as best seller for the Xbox and PS3 of all time.

Activision has registered a domain name under "blackops2.com" for Black Ops 2, but they haven't announced it, but come E3 they'll announce it and it will be a spectacle.

What will the plot of this game be? What modes will it have? Will it have any more features? Will the original Black Ops controls return? Will Infinity Ward or Treyarch make this one?

Thoughts?

I did hear about this yesterday from my friend.  I think that it would be twice as better than MW3, and that game sucks.  Having it called Black ops 2 is just a little weird, but I do not care.  They should call it White Ops, and the next one Gold Ops, and the next one Platinum Ops. As for the game, I am hoping that there will be more Zombie maps and a new mode.  It is definitely going to be sold out, so I mind as well wait.

...black ops 1 was suposed to be the final pre 2k one.
Well, makes no difference to me, iv had enough of them changing the title number and charging 40 quid for the exact same game.

well to be honest I'm not looking forward to that. The only part in the first black ops I enjoyed was the zombies. I had fun playing with my friends and kicking some butt. but other than that I didn't really like it that much. I guess I'm more of a modern warfare and battlefield person. But I'm curious as to see how this one turns out.

Star wars293: yes, it will be just like the first one. I found out that instead of having 4 players in zombies, they are going to make it up to 8 players. That is going to make the game more fun.

Also for zombie mode is that it going to have 8 players in it this time, and it going to have host migration. Also the two teams going compete with each other for the most points, and the map going to bigger and better. I can't wait for black ops 2 to come out in this fall. Oh yeah in domination mode instead of 1 round you get two round. You switch spawn points and the points from the last game is carry over.

I pre-ordered the game a while back and I can't wait to get it.  The main reason I think the game will be really good is because the zombies mode can support 8 people.  If it wasn't for that, it would probably be a mediocre game.
