I was 7 and my cousin had a Super Nintendo and Mortal Kombat 1. I played it once and it's been my absolute favorite hands down

My first memory of playing a video game was playing Atari 2600 when I was like 6 with my dad eating icecream sandwiches. Just playing all sorts of fun games...although my most vivid memories are when 1. I first got my NES 2. When I saw Sonic the Hedgehog for the first time and 3. When If first got my Super Nintendo and popped in Super Mario World

My first memory is playing Super Mario Bros when I was 3ish, and my older brother yelling and screaming at me to jump over the pits because I wasn't too good (obviously). He was a pretty anal and impatient kid, haha.

I don't really remember what sort of video games I played first. But I do know that I grew up playing Super Mario Bros and the Legend of Zelda. I never stopped playing NES, either. I loved me some Duck Hunt and Battletoads and all of those great games from back then. In fact, if the 72-pin connector hadn't died on my NES--Or if I had known you could replace them--I would STILL be playing Marble Madness and Archon to this day!

My first video game was Winnie the Pooh: Tigger's Honey Hunt for Nintendo 64. Great game too. It wasn't until I was seven that I got a Gameboy Advance SP and some real games.

My first memory (or rather memories, can't remember the very first memory) was playing Super Smash Bros., Banjo-Kazooie, Wave Race 64, and Star Fox 64 all on the Nintendo 64 with my brothers either playing with me or watching. I do remember Star Fox 64 as the first game I ever beat.

My first game was Pac-man I believe.

I remember playing that all day on the computer when I was a little kid...

I still play it sometimes, too.

I don't remember how old I was, but this was back on the PS1. I remember playing the game Primal Rage with my dad, and I'd always pick the red T-rex, Diablo I think his name was, and my dad would pick the orange T-rex, whose name I have no clue as to what it is. And we would spend an hour or so everyday just playing that game over and over.

It was even better when one day I cam home from kindergarten and he had gotten me 3 action figures of them. The 2 Rex's and then the half styracosaurs half man one.

When I was really young, toddler-young, learning about the magical whistles in Super Mario Bros 3 from older and more experienced cousins. And on the first Super Mario Bros, in World 3 (I think) where there's that koopa that you can use to get infinite lives? I never actually managed to do that trick, but I remember watching other people do it. The music from Legacy of the Wizard was a pretty vivid early memory, as well as the strange plot lines my three year old self came up with to explain the seemingly plot less game. Playing Dragon Warrior 2 and never being able to figure out how to advance past Moonbrooke. (Couldn't ever find the Magic Mirror, or whatever it is). And never, ever making it past the second level in Legendary Wings.

I can't remember what the first game I ever played was, but I think it was some Sesame Street game for the NES. There was some kind of carnival theme to it, that I didn't really get. To be honest, the game freaked the heck out of me. The night sky with the weird ferris wheel and the odd noises scared me. But it was Sesame Street, so I loved it.

I definitely do know that the Super Mario series would define a lot of my early gaming, though. My brother and I would wind up spending many hours playing two player on that game. And after finding one hole that had hidden coins in it, he'd manage to trick me into jumping down every hole in the hopes that I'd find more secrets.

So my childhood was mostly Super Mario. That and Duck Hunt. Aiming at the screen and watching the dog laugh at me was a lot of fun. I'm sure there were other games, but I can't really remember any of them.

The first game I ever played... Well, I think that was Pokemon Yellow, which was a few dollars at a local pawn shop that no longer exists. On a Gameboy salvaged from a nearby dumpster that had a yellow line cutting the screen almost in half. I used to play that all the time. I don't think I started playing the NES until I was older, although I could be mistaken. I don't think I ever beat it. I haven't beaten many games, I seem to lack the attention span for it, heh.

With my grand brother, playing Alex Kidd in Miracle World on Master System. I still remember this palace with all the "deathtraps" and all those purple bricks... I don't like this palace!!! 0_0

The first game I ever played was Crash Team Racing on the PS1. Crash Team Racing is a very fun game and is an entertaining racing game since you can shoot rockets and use potions on your opponents. And even though I was only 6 years old, I could beat the game 100%.

I was in pre school and my cousin had given me her old sega system with all of her old games one christmas. And one of the first games I played was mortal combat and i didn't like to hold the controller much, so I would play with my feet and I'd win every time. Ever since then I have always been a pro button smasher  

My first memory of playing a game was waaaay back before I was even attending school. I was playing spyro on the PlayStation. I was pretty comfortable with the controls, so I can only assume I had played the PlayStation before, but spyro is the first game that I really remember actually playing.

The first video game memory I had was when I was like 2. We had a baby sitter who bring his NES to our house, and play ExciteBike. I remember we were not allowed to play, which sucked. As far as playing, I couldn't tell you if it was Super Mario Bros. 2 or Monster Party. I know one of those two is my first game memory, but I can't tell you which one.

I think it was Super Mario World, but it could have also been Sonic CD or Donkey Kong Country; my mom's parents have a SNES from when my uncle was in middle/high school and my dad's parents had Sonic CD. I'd always play Mario with my grandpa or my uncle, but I'd literally play the same level over and over not knowing what I was doing (same thing with DKC). Sonic CD was a group activity, with my cousins and me gathering around my grandparents' computer

My first video game was pacman on the atari. It was the only game I could play well since I was little. WOW, I can't believe I remember that.
