As I said before, I don't the world's gonna end I just think it's mass hysteria cause people have seen movies and or other thing that may lead to the world ending. I'm going to keep doing the same things I was doing before this whole idea about the world ending came up

I don't believe either that the world is going to end on December 21, 2012.





However, I have always been fascinated by what others often call coincidence. While the Mayan Long Count calendar is the best-known example, it is not the only ancient text that has predicted the end of the world around the same time. People who supposedly had nothing to do with each other coming up with the same ideas around the same time is interesting.





Just like how religions (regardless of your beliefs... this isn't a religious debate) have more than just one group talking about "The Great Flood."  Some call it coincidence that groups that were not connected came up with similar ideas around the same time period, and science states that )from a non-Godlike point of view) that it could never have happened because there is not enough water Earth, but then again, we weren't there to know how any of it really happened.








Back to the end of the world, though, even though there has been talk about the Mayan calendar, there was some mathematical reasoning behind the date chosen (I can't remember what it is off hand... it was stuff told on the History Channel.)  Besides, they had to eventually stop the calendar somewhere, didn't they? Even if they went all of the way to 150,000 A.D. There had to be a stopping point.





And this is not even remotely the first time the end of the world has been predicted, though probably the most famous.

At 11:59 P.M., I will be on Vizzed.com possibly making my last forum or reply. Oh wait, no I won't, I will be at my friend's house in Alabama celebrating his birthday, and playing around before we die.

The world won't end so I will be celebrating the coming of Christmas and 2013.

b.t.w.: We will all be dead and buried by the time the world DOES end. It will be our great-grand-kids who will worry 'bout the world ending.

When the world end is coming next day, I would do everything I want, because Its not Important What you do now, if there is no morning.

I have bought a SKS, I got a nine mm, a tech nine and Mac 10 that converts into a Mac 11, rather be safe than sorry. Just waiting for the end of days. 

That is a load of crap. The world isn't going to end so I'm going to keep living my life the same way I have been. I'm not going to prepare for anything, it is lies. And if the world does end, who cares we had a good run? If the world were seriously ending, I'd just have to watch, unless it were something slow, but if it were a fast explosion or something, I'd have to watch it.

I don't believe that the world is going to end in 2012. But I hope that before the world ends, we can make it a better place while it's still here.

I do not predict our planet named, Earth, will not end this year. I believe this is just another realistic fiction time period. If us, as humans, keep up the awesome job with our environment, the Earth will become absolutely safe and us, as humans, will have absolutely nothing to worry about. Good luck!

Nah, I'm going to leave it open. People are free to discuss the whether or not the world will end.

Personally, I don't believe it, but if I knew I was going to die, I'd live it up. I'd go through Wal*Mart and steal a ton of stuff.

I'm going to force myself to beat Lemmings for SNES. It will be a long and excruciatingly stressful journey, but I will try to finish it.
