what emulators does the rgr plugin use I'll take a guess and say that the snes emulator is zsnes ,the genesis and 32x emulator would be kega fusion ,the gameboy family emualtor would be vba,and I think somewhere on the board it said the n64 emulator was 1964

icrazy : All of the emulators used are the best open source emulators available:
SNES: ZSNES
N64: 1964
Genesis/32x: Gens
GBA/GB/GBC: VisualBoyAdvance
NES: FCEUX

(keep in mind that we can only use open source emulators for legal reasons and development reasons)

Davideo, I never quite understood the logic in the rule that if something is posted on another site, it doesn't count towards the jersey's.
I can understand wanting original content, and I'm not against the rule; I would just like to know why. (especially when you saw that the posted material still belonged to me)

So, when Netplay does make it's way around here, what games do you intend on playing with people? Do you have specific people in particular that you intend to play a game with? Do you intend on doing co-op stuff or things that pit you against other users?

Do you have any Zelda or Pokemon games? If so which ones do you have? I am just curious because I love them both so much!

Argus Swift : There's 2 main reasons:

1. It's unfair to everyone else when you copy and paste a massive post from a different site, whether that content was yours or not it's still unfair to everyone else and most users on this site would agree with that. It isn't fair if you grab a jersey for doing something that only took a few seconds (copy and paste). The word count jerseys are really about who put the most time into their posts and typed the most.

2. Exclusive content on a site ranks higher (when it comes to search engines) than non exclusive content

rcarter2 : I'd really like to play Mario Kart, Goldeneye, Mystical Ninja, Smash TV, probably a ton others, too many to list lol. I'd probably prefer cooperative over competitive.

JoshPokemon : The only Zelda game I currently own is The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I have played a lot of the older Zelda games growing up, my Dad owend them (and still does). As for Pokemon, I own Pokemon Blue, Pokemon Gold, and sorta Pokemon Diamond.

Hm... The second point I can understand, things being exclusive to Vizzed.... But I've gotten credit for posting my stories on here before, and they weren't on any site; they were just sitting on my hard drive. I hadn't posted them elsewhere. What sort of difference does that make?
That's the part of the logic I'm not quite following here.

Argus Swift : That brings us back to #2. Also, in situations like that, it's really hard to know if someone typed the story up for vizzed or not so if it's not found on any other site, the only thing we really can do is just to allow its words to count.

I suppose I follow now.

What inspired you to make Vizzed to begin with?

Argus Swift : I came across a few message boards that really inspired me to want to create my own. When I discovered the acmlm board engine, I really liked it a lot and eventually got my own board using the engine. Since than, I've recoded a lot of that code so the primary engine of the forum is no longer acmlm. Also since than, the site has really expanded beyond just a forum.

starwars293 : We have had people who are both Retro Game Room Staff and Local Mods. For example, I was a Retro Game Reviewer and then later got asked to be a Local Mod. I got to keep both (although largely due to the fact that I was doing more than triple the monthly quota, so they knew I could handle both ) I Recently got an extra position on the Retro Game Room staff and I still have my other two. Heck, tRIUNE is both a Global and the Retro Game Room Staff Manager.




Now my question for David. When you say Mystical Ninja, is that Legend of the Mystical Ninja for the Super Nintendo? I absolutely love that game. My older brother and I rented that all the time and played co-op. Too bad he has always been pretty bad at video games

I have another question from an observation I had. Now that the Retro Toon Room is now dead from MegaUpload getting shot down, will there be a point in people buying the laptop item? Now that the Retro Toon Room is gone, all it can do now is the exact same thing as the V-Machine, only cost 5000 more Viz.
