I still plan to allow more donation methods in the future, I'm not sure when yet. Bitcoin most likely would be one of the added methods since multiple users have requested it and because I'm pretty sure there are no taxes involved with bitcoin and no fees which makes it a great option.

janus : When you buy a forum from someone, you pay that person the Viz but when you want changes made to that forum, you send me the Viz.

Sorry in advance, I know I'm not really supposed to ask for help, according to the possible topics listed, but I really am at my wit's end.

   For the past few days, I have been unable to log in to my main account, also, I know I'm not supposed to make another account, but not being able to log in left me no real options. I couldn't chat, private message, post, etc... I explain everything in much more detail in the thread I made.

   I was just wondering, is there any new input you could provide? geeogree has been trying to help, but I've exhausted every possible option I can think of. At this point, I kind of want you just to break into my account and tell me what's up. The only thing I can think of is that somehow my password got changed, and I don't know the current one. I know what it should be, but it won't let me log on.

   Because I really, really, don't want to have to start from scratch again...

EDIT: Oh, according to Jordan, he says you have the power to reset passwords, but that I should only ask as a last ditch effort... Which is kind of what this is. Do you think that would be possible? Thanks.

Fear The Great : You're banned but since you also have another account (which isn't banned), I'll answer this anyway.

I don't think it's unfair at all that I compete in the TdV even though I'm the site owner. I like to compete and be part of things on this site just as much as anyone else. Being the site owner doesn't give me any advantage though. The only thing that would give me an advantage that I can think of is the fact that I have a higher daily limit but all staff members have a higher daily limit than regular users so that would mean that it'd be unfair for any staff member.

The more I think about this though, the more I realize how much of a disadvantage I actually have in the TdV. I'll explain the 2 reasons why I'm at a disadvantage.

1. Being the site owner means I'm extremely busy and don't always have time to compete as much as I'd like. For example, this month I was actively competing and had a shot at the Overall Green Jersey but then these site issues came up which have been consuming almost all of my time and I blew that lead. Pretty much in every TdV, the site keeps me pretty busy and I'm unable to invest as much time as other users. Also, having a wife and kids and other responsibilities, that takes away a lot of my time as well.

2. I need to set a good example and that usually means I'm unable to earn points as easily as others. Some users are willing to earn points by bending the rules or by borderline spamming or cheating. I on the other hand try to avoid those things at all costs since it'd look bad and since I need to be an example of how to compete properly.


janus : I don't really follow politics so I know nothing about Scott Walker. I've heard good things about him but that's only the opinions of others and I can't represent those opinions myself.

When you get the red banner and become McDavideo7s, is that an automatic system or do you have to manually switch your username every time that happens?

I understand Custom user name colors are mostly given to staff, but I wonder will there be an option to pay for a custom color user name with Viz in the future?

What's your favorite Wii U game? And how often do you play it (Sorry if this was already asked before.)?

SuperCrash64 : Actually custom username colors are only given out to the top donators. I've only given out a custom username color for Viz once ever and it was in an auction won by Tyrian Delirium (sonicmcmuffin at the time) for 4,000,000 Viz. I might offer it for Viz as an auction again someday but we'll see. If I do though, it'll probably go for millions of Viz again.

greenluigi : My current favorite Wii-U game is probably Super Mario Maker. I haven't played it much in the past few days but up until a week ago, I was playing it an average of 2 hours per a day since it came out. In other words, I probably put 100+ hours into that game within the first 45 days of its launch.

asdren : That's the fault of MAME and not the RGR Plugin unfortunately so this is mostly out of my control for the time being.

Davideo7 : Thank you so much for taking care of that. Anyways, if you had to make a Top 10 TDV's of all time list, would this TDV be on it?

Is it by "self-restraint" that you do not "participate" as actively in Tour de Vizzed or because the website keeps you too busy?

gamerforlifeforever2 : The current TdV would definitely be on a top 10 list. Even though you dominated for most of the TdV, the other positions have been shuffling back and forth throughout the month and the Red and Green competition have been pretty intense for most of the time. Also, the fact that 6 different users will be walking away with something is pretty cool as well.


janus : The website keeps me too busy. I had plans on winning the Overall Green Jersey this TdV and also had plans on getting into the top 3 but the server stuff got in the way of that. My plan is to eventually win each of the Overall Jerseys and since I've won the Red already, I now have to win Yellow, Blue and Green at some point.

I mentioned this before but I don't really plan to go out of my way to win the Tour de Vizzed again since I've already won it but I definitely wouldn't hesitate to win it if it was within reach and/or there was no competition. I do like making things interesting though and pushing contestants so I would probably give someone some competition if they had none.

Do you watch a lot of the Olympics when they're on? If so, then which do you prefer, the Summer games or the Winter games?

gamerforlifeforever2 : I'm a huge fan of the Olympics and I honestly look forward to it more than any other sporting event, including the Super Bowl. I literally try to watch every minute of NBC's coverage of the Olympics and I set it to record so that I can watch what I'm unable to live.

I think the Olympics are greatly under appreciated in the United States which is pretty sad considering we usually send the most athletes and usually win the most medals. It just seems like those accomplishments would be better earned by nations that would observe them more.

I prefer the Summer Olympics since there are a lot more events and because it has a lot more events that I'm into. I still enjoy the Winter Olympics a lot though.
