You could use an idea from some old PS games.
To revive Aeris:
You have to have a save from the last save point in FF7.
Insert all of the FF7 sequels into your PS2 with the the save blocks from FF7. Only when you do that and start a new game will a new cut scene featuring Squall stopping aeris from dying be shown. Then new dungeons and cut scenes will open, providing a new game play.

good idea bobby.what would be a good idea is to find the black materia after sephiroth has used it and fuse it together the white materia to form a crystal crevice(new dungeon)and at the bottom is a aerith in the giant crystal and a boss called aerith sentiment would attack the party.

after a long lenthy battle the aerith sentiment get destroyed and the giant crystal got shattered and aerith is now free to join your party again

I like how you use a boss battle on how to revive her.but you have to make sure that she is harder to beat than emerald and ruby weapons that way you would end up spending more hours on trying to figure out a strategy to beat her or make it that only your low level characters are able to damage her. you make your high level characters fight through the dungeon and low level characters fight her and thus making it a lengthy battle.

Defeat the Ultimate Weapons in the order of Green, Ruby, and Ultimate. Make sure that each party member has there ultimate weapon equiped, and that Aeris had princess guard with a fully leveled revive, cure, and heal materia (in that order) in its first, third, and fifth slots respectively. After the Ulimate Weapon crashes it will open the usual path after it dies, but will also create a crater that causes the Lifestream to repair the area. Fly to the Lifestream and you will find a cutscene showing Aeris's ghost. She'll tell you To return to her mother. After you go talk to her mother, you will get a pink dress, lock of hair, and hair ribbon. Take these back to the Lifestream and you'll see a cutscene where these items are touched by the Lifestream and Aeris is revived. She will now have a new Limit Break called Lifestream that will always fully heal the party.

Enix made it look like they were going to make it possible to revive Aerith. There's this cave you can get to (with a lot of irritation that is so not worth it), that will freeze the game but it will start to play Aerith's death song before the game goes wacky. It looks like they were going to have a way to revive Aerith in the game but they took it out at the last minute. At least that's what I gathered from it.

I always wished it was possible to revive aries but the story would not be the same. Thought i have tried many way's to revive her all in vane. It was such a poignant moment of the game and my favorite female charater ever in a game and alway's useful in battle because she a great healer and and magic user. I hope square do make a remake of this the single greatest game ever but I cant see it happening the president said it would cost ten time's the ammout for them to remake it then a standard ps3 game.

Well I were to revive Aeris, I would have to jump into her watery grave give her mouth to mouth then get her to a real doctor to perform surgery to close the wound Sephiroth inflicted on her. Life saved!Does Tifa need to be revived too?

KlawedFlaw : Naw. It wouldn't ruin the game forever. It'll just cause it to freeze. If you reset the game it'll be fine. Just make sure you save before you try getting into this cave. I don't know what cave it is so.....bleh.

Ok First......

1. Travel to aeriths house and talk to hr mom

2. after she cries and Tears fall off her face go back to where the holy materia was

3. This will trigger a small cutscene of the party talking about cloud and aerith and the holy materia They say it can even Ressurect Something

4. after this go to the water front where aerith was put

5. you will see a white sparkley materia

6. pick it up Congrats you just got the white materia!

7. Play all the way until you face sephiroth

8. During the fight use The white materia

9. It shows a cutscene of alexander and Guess who AERITH!

10. After That Aerith Has been resurected for the final fight with sephiroth

11. BUT WAIT!!! You also get a special cutsene with Cloud reuniting with aerith And they kiss the end.

hokay so zis is aeris so basically we going to revive zat babe

1. buy crisis core
2. buy all FF games made after ten other than dissidia
3.burn them
4. now get onto ff7
5. in the final battle with sephiroph (the one where he feels the need to be like jacob from twilight)
6. DONT attack him
7. make sure he gets your health to between 1 and 15
8. then use your limit break
9. as soon as your sword is exactly a pixle away from the first strike pause the game
10. take the disk out
11. put in disk one
12. it will glitch for aproximatlly 10 seconds then it will start from the scene where sephiroph is about to kill her (hes rainin death from above wit masamume)
13.as soon as his sword is exactly one pixle away from hiting aeris pause the game
14. hit the konami code
15. unpause and you will see that aeris' body has spun around and she will have a pair of scissors in her hand and will chop off sepiroph's hair he will drop the sword cry and turn into kefka
16. the rest of the game will be the same apart from you have aeris (who can now equip scissors) and sephiroph will be kefka
17. and also you will be praised for your genius

Well then....

1. Beat the game
2. Take out the disk afterwards.
3. Put in Disc 2 upside down.
4. Press up, down, left, right, x, o.
5. Take out disk 2 and place in disc 1 correctly
6. Press new game.
7. Get up to the point where Aeris is about to die by the hands of Sephiroth
8. Input the Konami Code in the 2 seconds before her death.
9. As soon as you do, leap like a ninja and shut off the system.
10. Place disk 3 in correctly
11. Continue your original file
12. Fight Sephiroth at the end again.
13. Lose on purpose
14. Aeris will come out of nowhere and save you.
15. You win and get new game + in which Aeris never dies.

OK, here goes...

When you first get off the train, after you defeat the first 2 soldiers, press pause and enter the Konami Code. Barrett will run up and ask you 3 questions. The answers are "5", "materia" and "Chuck Norris". He will then give you a card with Cloud's face on it. After the first boss fight, repeat the pause/Code sequence again. Barrett will ask 3 more questions, the answers being "SOLDIER", "Buster" and "Dammit, I already SAID Chuck Norris!". He will then give you a card with Aeris' face on it. Right before Sephiroth kills her, pause, Konami Code and shout out the ingredients to a Big Mac ("Two all beef patties special sauce, etc.") and then unpause. Aeris' place is now taken by that OTHER bastion of irritation, Edward.
