Oh yes! There are plenty of people from different backgrounds. I love it! They're usually the ones that I have an easier time connecting to as well.

We have 4 exchange students at the moment, although I can't recall where they hail from. Another school in the district has several Chinese kids, which all happen to have Japanese the same period I do. Yes, the Chinese kids are taking Japanese. No, I don't know why.

I think my school is fairly diverse. It's probably 70% Caucasian, 15% African American, 5% Hispanic, 5% Indian and another five percent of other nationalities.

Where I attended high school, we had a few foreign exchange kids, and a few people who were from other countries.

One of my favorites was this foreign exchange brother tandem from Uzbekistan. They were so hilarious and acted crazy. But they were really just like any american student. They were a blast to have around.

My high school does have a lot of ethnicity. Even though I was Caucasian, I was not the majority. Hispanic was 60%, and there were a lot different Hispanic backgrounds within that alone. Caucasian was about 30%, Asian was 4% (Also had quite a variety of different Asian cultures), and African American was 6%. We did have about 100 foreign exchange students a year. My high school was roughly a little over 2000 students when I graduated, so even the lower percentages had quite a fair amount. My College is more diverse, of course. I don't know the ratios, but I know it has one of, if not the highest, exchange students from China.

Yes. At school we had students from other countries (Albania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Russia, Cyprus). At university there were a few transferred students from Scandinavia and France, as well. I like meeting people from other countries, so it was a nice experience

Well I'm at a massive state university, so yes. In high school there wer actually very few nationalities. In a 400 person class, we had maybe half a dozen Indian kids and half a dozen african americans. The cool part was that no one gave a crap. Our school tolerated everything except bullies.

There are a lot of foreign exchange students attending my college. There are a few from Nigeria, Germany, England, Spain, Guatemala, and Scotland. I don't know very many of them, unfortunately. I'd love to ask a few of them about their countries.

Actually, not many varied nationalities at my school. Almost half of the students are African-American, another almost half is Mexican, and the rest are either Chinese or Japanese. Meh.

I would say it's pretty varied around here. It's not like we get people coming from across the world or anything, but I'd say we have different cultures and races represented at school.
