Views on the new types of presidents:

Yeah, I'd rather have a calm collected black guy as president rather than a silverware-stealing insane-as-hell sixty year-old woman.

I haven't the time to read all four pages of this debate... sorry. So forgive me if i repeat any arguments or points already made... I AM A BUSY MAN

I think ron paul was the best choice. He was the real libertarian choice. He supported fredom, both socially and economically. And i think it is ubsurd to say that only democrats will talk to other political parties with "reason".

Going a little overboard there. I don't see the insanity in Hillary, just some entusiasm. And what's wrong with being 60? In addition, being calm and collected doesn't make someone a better choice. I'd vote for him in eight years, but he isn't ready yet. Besides, what he and others pulled in Michigan is a disgrace. And the democratic primaries proved two things to me: this country is more sexist than racist, the democrats have a crappy primary system if the one who wins the popular vote and what would be the electoral vote somehow loses the primaries.

Commenting on what John said, Ron Paul never really had a chance. The media considered him a joke and too many misguided people follow it. Though I clearly am a democrat in my views, I would have liked to see a candidate like Ron Paul get a little more respect. I believe everyone's voice should be heard. Our country is too centered on the two major parties for someone like him to have a real chance.

I don't like either of the chosen candidates, but it matters not since we cannot vote here in Puerto Rico. If the current state of media manipulation lasts until November, Obama will win with ease. I'm glad Hillary didn't win the Democratic primary...last thing we need is yet another puppet of the establishment in the White House. I could smell the "sexist" remarks a mile away though...there's always going to be at least one person or group that tries to pull the minority card; if it's not racism, it's sexism...as if females are a minority.

I didn't like Ron Paul at all. Sure, he sounded fresh and interesting at first, but as I looked deeper and deeper into what he stood for, he sounded just like every other fruitcake Republican out there. I tend to research far more than most, so I get a clearer picture of each scenario...most people will simply believe whatever rhetoric supports their viewpoint but I can't do that...too many years in computer programming I guess.

And anyone doing the whole "Obama is a communist" or calling him "Obama Binladen" needs to do their homework and stop playing the sheeple card. All of the candidates have skeletons in their closets...your chosen candidate isn't the picture of perfection but instead, the picture of corruption. That goes for them all. It merely becomes a case of "I will vote for the lesser of two evils".

Hillary is easily one of the most independant-minded politicians in the business. She'd be the opposite of a puppet. And about sexism, it wasn't THAT big of an issue considering she won the popular vote, but that doesn't mean sexism isn't still prominant in society. Also, it isn't always a choice between the lesser of two evils, sometimes you get a truly great candidate. People's personal issues don't make them bad presidents. Bill Clinton obviously had "problems" but he was one of the best presidents in U.S. history.
