Wow, was Aura even on the suspect list? I would hardly have considered him spending 5 hours on the board. xD

Yet, now that I think about it, I do see him a lot here. So maybe he does, in the end.

Someone70 : When the question was asked I was trying to think of an honest answer. At the time, I was logging onto to Vizzed and spending more time than what I would have wanted. I sort of want to blame college for that. After the semester ended I felt guilty of how much my time on Vizzed plummeted. You see what I'm saying?

Haha, I can vouch for Aura spending about that much time, he came in chat before classes pretty regularly along with his evening sessions.
Also, count me in for the next mafia game. I might be even less active than normal for the holidays, but I should be able to have a look, at least.

I'm making it known I'm making a change for Round 5.

When Round 5 begins (presumably sometime in late January?), there will be a bit of a change

We will be adding a new faction as well as three new roles. We will also be getting rid of a role.

Additions
1. New Faction - Anarchists - This group is neither on the Mafia nor the Bystanders team. In fact, this faction starts the game with ONLY ONE MEMBER. ONLY ONE. That member will be explained in detail on the next point, but the goal of this faction is to dominate the field at any one time. If 50% or more of the players still alive are Anarchists, than the Anarchists win.

2. New Role - Anarchist Leader - Otherwise known as Leader. This role is the only Anarchist at the start of the game. Every Night Round they will choose one player to make an Anarchist. None of the sides will be aware of it. The only people who will know will be the Anarchist Leader and the new Anarchist. The Anarchist loses any role he had previously (whether he is mafia or bystander or Doctor or Godfather) and joins the state of Anarchy. This is the only way to increase numbers for the Anarchists, so once the Anarchist Leader dies, they will just try to drag on the game. (If you are Mafia and drafted to the Anarachists, it's advised to keep quiet about Mafia members with your fellow Anarchists unless you are trying to win for your side.) This role will be given any extra explanation as is needed.

3. New Role - Loose Cannon - This role is basically an offensive bystander. Every night round they can choose one person to kill. Period. It can be either side so it's advised to only kill if you don't think they are a role like Doctor. You are on the bystanders side. You are the Bystander's offense at night. You are limited to 3 kills in a game with under 15 people, 5 kills in a game with under 25, and unlimited in games with more than 25.

Subtractions

1. With every new role comes a sacrifice. With the addition of the Loose Cannon, the TRAPPER is now obsolete. There will be no more trapping. Ever. This is the last round with the trapper

So what does this change?

Well most of it you will find out for yourselves, but the important things to note for each role

Sheriff - When you investigate The Anarchists, regardless of whether they are Leader or just a follower, you will see their name as the ANARCHIST. When you investigate the Loose Cannon you will see their name as MAFIA (despite the fact they are actually on your side. So watch out.)

Doctor - As always you can heal whoever you would like. Your role is basically the same.

Insomniac - You will hear the actions of Anarchists. If someone in the room next to yours is taken in by the Anarchists you will hear something similar to "A change of heart occured in the door next to yours". If the Loose Cannon attacks a room next to yours, it will appear as if the Mafia had rode in.

Mafia - You now have to contend with a separate team, the Anarchists. Generally it's not a bad idea to get rid of them and bystanders indiscriminantly.

Bystanders - Read above, replace bystanders with mafia.

Trapper - You no longer exist. Sorry.

Oh neat, some new fun additions into the game. This is going to make it even harder to guess who the mafia is now, and there's some more competition.

Those are some cool additions, and some good subtractions as well, I agree with the new rules/addition and subtractions, it should be fun

It basically makes the night round even more action packed, as literally anything can happen now. The game can change in an instant.
