My cat Smokey. He had some abusive owners before. I pick up a soda can, he runs. And now, I present to you a list of what scares him and what he does:

I pick up a box, he runs. I grab the remote while he's on my lap, he runs. I grab my belt, he runs. Me and somebody else look at him at the same time, he runs. We run, he runs. His sister runs, he runs. He hears a noise, he runs. I get up, he runs. I play a video game, he runs. I show him a toy, he runs. Somebody walks into the room, he occasionally runs. I could go on and on.

My dog shakes really badly when there is thunder or if there are fireworks. Other than that she isn't really afraid of anything else.

Some of them do, and some of them don't.

My chocolate lab, Coffee, is one of the most scaredy cat pets I've ever had, while my black tabby, Chaos could get picked up and thrown into a wall by ghosts, and just shake it off with a goofy look on his face.  Coffee runs away from the doorbell, vacuum, can opener, and the start up sound on my laptop, along with various other things (everything).
