I basically want to break down the entire game into steps, this will make the flow of the game easier to follow and a lot easier to understand for the person making the game. Also, these steps obviously don't need to be done in this order but might make life easier to do it that way.
I will be making a separate thread for each step. They will be created when the time comes for them to be necessary.

Step 1: Overview
This thread will go over the entire game briefly, what's required in this first release, what's involved with each step, etc.
Step 2: GUI, Navigation, Screens and flowchart
This step will display all the menu's and screens and how they work and look. Also the flowchart will be here.
Step 3: Characters, Stats, Attacks and Abilities
A list of all the playable Characters. Also details about how the characters will control, the stats, different types of attacks, abilities, etc.
Step 4: Levels and Physics
What the levels will look like, graphics, objects on the levels, etc.
Step 5: Battling and Display
Screen sizes and resolutions, in battle chatting, controls, battle modes and options, etc
Step 6: Items
There wont be many to begin with but details about the items and what they'll do.
Step 7: Chat Lobby and Starting Up Battles
The lobby where you start up a game with others. Details about how it'll work and look.
Step 8: Connecting to Vizzed Board
Details about how the game will link to vizzed board and it's logged in users.
Step 9: User Stats Profile
A stats page on vizzed board dedicated to your 'Vizzed Flash Bash' profile. Displays wins, losses, times played, games played, acheivements, who you've won/loss, etc.

Here is a list of features this game will have to begin with. This is mainly for the developers use:
-Chat Lobby where people can chat and start a game; a person creates a room and specifies how many people are going to battle, what mode they are playing, etc; once the room is created, people can join and chat and the person who made the room can press the 'Play' at any point to begin the battle. Once their game is over they get sent back to their chat lobby.
-Offline mode where users can play with other people on the same computer; for the sake of submitting this game to flash game portals on the net, I'd want a version of this game with only the offline version with a link titled 'Online Version' which lets them know that they have to sign up at vizzed to play it online with others
-4 players online (if possible, 8, otherwise 8 would be future release)
-Items which raise health and energy
-Saved user statistics
-Some characters with unique attacks and abilities
