well there should be extra characters and stages.

I should say that pac-man and ryu are good ones

as for stages i say the pac-man arcade cabinet stage from mugen and ryu's stage from SF II (you can edit them to as much as you like just shrink ryu's sprite to the size of the others then he's up to the task of fighting the others) further more chrono (from chrono trigger) should be added and as well as ness (from motherearthbound)

Upon seeing the demo (i hope it was the current one ><) I noticed a few things right away!

1. I think the environments need a little more work. Is is possible to animate the backgrounds of the environments a little? For example... in the Mario level if you made the clouds in the background float from right to left, or maybe bring the patches of grass to life by making them move in the wind or something of that nature. It isnt bad the way it is... but I believe that there is room for improvement.

2. the controls were difficult. I tried and tried and tried to find some sort of consistency with the controls and it just did not work for me at all. I finally found all the necessary keys to operate but at that point my hands were in a very awkward and uncomfortable shape on the keyboard. Maybe there is a better control scheme available?

3. you pretty much fly after you double jump

4. Not that this should be another super smash bros or something, but maybe the use of items would make the game not so focused on just being able to tap the fire button more times in a row than the opponent. Or maybe we could impliment the use of terrain objects that can disable an opponent or hurt them... i dont know, another idea!

and last but not least

5. the game needs a better GUI. I like the way a majority of it looks. Don't get me wrong, but I just think that It could look better. The health meters at the top of the battle could use some work for sure!

I'm not saying that the game is bad, I am very impressed with the progress so far! I'm just putting in my two cents here.

I have experience with vector imaging and I would be more than happy to create some peripherals for new health meters and whatnot.

Have you thought about adding a miniature Mortal Kombat characters like Sub-Zero and Lui Kang?

Also for the characters that seem to be a little to similar you could try boosting the power of one and making it a locked character that could some how be linked to the level you are on the Vizzed Board. This could encourage new members to start posting or people who are not members to become members.
