Ok I love camping, as long as it's not really hot!

My fave place is the Andorondacks (sp?) there are loads of camping places there.  My fave campsite is Lewy lake, there are no noisy parties, or any city life like most of the popular camp grounds have.  This place is like a slice out of time before big cities there is a small town Speculator that has a couple of shops and restaurants.  In India Lake town there is an old fashion movie place.  Further up there is Lake George that has a cool amusement park for kids (forgot the name though...) it's hidden behind a wall of forest.  You enter it and it's like a magical play land full of animatronics, puppets, music, and rides.

Do you like camping and if you do what is your favorite place?

I love camping too, I go at least 3 or 4 times every summer. Its so fun just hanging out outside with family. Just peaceful.

Anyway we got a special campsite where it's next to the lake where the ducks live~  That will be fun with my little sister and niece~

I can't be separated from the internet or games and such for a long time, or I'll kinda go a bit insane... It's basically like a life source, for me.

MegaRevolution1 : Mega I see you as a friend but I must say that, that is lame.... You should try it some time. I might be addicted to AC, fans, and internet but I can survive 4 days away from all of that. It's good for you to get away from this materialistic world~

Imagine waking up at 6 am, walking down to the lake, see the fog roll off the water slowly revealing the far away island. Then right in front of you appear some Loons and a family of ducks. Far off in the distance you hear the Moose call each other. Nothing is more precious than that.

When I go camping I thoroughly enjoy it. The fresh air and the camp fire... And my iPhone to check Vizzed throughout then night.

Well really I never went to camping as far as remember, but I like the idea to camp near the seaside mostly, with the big fire, remaining there for at least one week, living in nature really far from the routine life. (total quiet ambiance for some time,then some music and celebration...really fun i think)Taking a walk in the nature, all that seems magical to me.

seanne : Camping is magical. It is far different from the ordinary day. Especially if you go into the mountains the air is so fresh and clean~ I am just so excited for this trip!

I love camping too. I own a 36 foot camper and we go several times a year. I don't like going when it's too hot but I have AC in the camper just in case. Love to fish, hike and be outdoors.

I love camping! especially when you got with your parents or friends. You can make jokes and have fun!

There's a place in Connecticut that I used to camp at a lot. We used to camp in tents, but we graduated to fake camping (pop up trailer). The place we went to allowed dogs, so that made it a lot more fun. My chocolate lab loves the outdoors so he was more than happy to live an a camper and spend most of his life exploring a nature environment for a few days.

I love camping with my friends.  We might go one more time before school starts up again.

I've been to a summer camp. Not like the ones where you go home after a day of random planned activities but the kind where you stay in a sweaty log cabin and do random planned activities in a place with few wooden buildings and only portable bathrooms. And one of the days the make you pitch a tent and sleep in it when its horribly hot out and you wake up at midnight wanting to take your shirt off because it's so sweaty but you cant because there are two other people in the tent. And your two other tent members are making fake sexual noises the irritate and/or freak out everyone else and the counselors are throwing rocks at the tent and the other kids leave their tent to go kick your tent. And some kid who thinks he's cool decides to make up a new word and instead of calling you a homo he calls you a domo which automatically gives him a reputation the next day. And even though no one saw his face, all you have to do is mention the domo kid and everyone already knows exactly who you are talking about and you have to bring a buddy with you to use a portapotty about a few yards away even when your in a closed off camp and you're 15 years old. And during the end of camp ceremony they give you horribly tiny 1 dollar necklaces and you have to put it on in the dark and your is the only one that's tangled and then a counselor offers to put it on for you and since you're the only one, it makes you look a bit gay. And when you finally leave the camp you get every one's phone numbers you never talk to them again and when you do it's awkward. So... yeah, I like camping.

Well we had a pedo counsalor for my camp when I was a kid. His name was Cookie and he would like to bring all the girls in their nightgowns out into a field and read us stories. After that I was scared to go to camp.... I begged to just do summer school instead! That guy creaped me out sooo much! There was another pedo there too who would dress up like a prince with a mask and try to woo all the little girls... Just thinking about that summer gives me the creaps!

I don't like camping that much.

Usually my days are pretty busy, so the least I want to have is a nice bed to sleep on and no worries of anything going on me that I don't like
