I don't see the point of a leaving thread. Sure, it's an thread to tell everyone on Vizzed that you're going to be gone.

As people know, I left for a month, and I didn't make a leaving thread. I quietly returned, then boomed in activity.

But in all cases, I agree that there should just be one leaving thread.
