The game starts off rather slow but has its own nice feel of the characters. You have the option of 8 characters to begin with, but the only difference of the characters is where you start in the game. If you want to make your life easy, start with either Edgar or Selena because they are from the “easy” part of the map. The main differences between the 8 characters is the main weapon that you will use, if you want to go with a hand-on choice, pick a character that has a sword. If you want a character with distance, pick a character with the bow or spear. Again, I recommend Edgar since he starts off with the easiest weapon and easiest location. As you start the game, you are given the option to invest “points” to different things. If you invest your points in Sword, per-say, then your ability of hitting with the sword will increase. I would not invest in anything blow the Free Points until you have increased the 4 core level parts.

One link that I know of for the game is http://onemorelevel.com/games.php?game=564
It might not be what you were looking for in a strategy game, but I find it rather enjoyable.
