Ok so, after much debate I decided to make this thread early. In October of this year I am going off to join the United States Army. I've been thinking hard and it's really something I want to do. I may only be gone for 10 weeks, I may be gone for 4-6 years. I don't know, all I know is that some day I will be back, and that while I am gone I will miss you all. You all are great and wonderful friends. Since I'm not leaving until October I will do my best to say good bye, but if I don't

So much so that they get paid extra a month being on an Army base since it's living below THIER standards. Plus, the Air Force has all the hot women. I've seen it for myself plenty of times. Definitely can't go wrong there.

So, is October your basic training start date, or is that when you've decided you'll talk to one? I can't really tell if you've already talked to a recruiter, but I'm guessing you have.
