lilwildwolf21 : Eventually I'd like the site to be big enough with enough features that removing the NES games for example wouldn't destroy vizzed.  but yeah, there's legal loop holes but none when it comes to being contacted by the company to remove the games unless I brought them to court which isn't something I'm interested in doing at the moment.  There's probably ways to purchase teh copyrights but I'm sure it's really expensive and not worth the amount of money it'd cost.

The best way to look at this is in a positive manner. One Nintendo has not noticed this site as of yet. Two Atari's games that have been removed have not affected the site at all. Three Sega has already been through the site and there were no request (or if there was it was minor). Four what doesn't kill the site only makes it stronger. Five without letting the cat out of the bag this site will be in the not so distant future expand on what it will provide the vizzed community. Six it opens up more space for more games possible like my favorite Stryders Sword

That honestly sucks. I was pretty sad to see them all go.

However, there's something I've noticed... That is a LONG list for a old console. They must be greedy with their own profits. Oh well. At least not the ENTIRE collection of Atari was removed, haha.

This is ridiculous.  Why would they get rid of the Atari games on here, I just don't get it.  They are just old games and people would only play them for about 5 minutes or more or less.  I don't understand why this is such a big deal.

Hmm I will not even notice the fact that they are gone. I mean I do not want to nor do I need to play a game that old and that I can play anywhere online at about any site. I can not believe they would do this but hey, we did kind of... steal it.

Really? I don't think they're sold anywhere now, except for retro game stores, and they aren't directly from atari. They're second hand. I don't get it.....but whatever. Arguing with Atari doesn't bring anything but bad.

Here is something that has been puzzling me I thought Nintendo bought out Atari thus giving us the N64. So wouldn't Nintendo actually own the Atari games now because of this buy out??? Or did Nintendo just buy the blue prints of the Atari Jaguar so they can make their N64??? oh well either way...

Yeah i read that to but the US supreme court dismissed it, however, after the lynx and the jaguar they had multiple law suits that they had won but because the family wanted out of the industry they sold to JTS so technically Atari doesn't exist as a whole company, but as sub companies in bigger companies departments.

however, I guess if I would have read on.... The sub companies of Atari merged and became infogrames which then sold to Hasbro interactive for like $5 million less then what Warner Corp paid 22 years earlier. Atari then became just a share holder a eventually disappeared from the market. However, the US sub branch change its name to Atari Inc. but still kept the infogrames name. Soon in 2010 the CEO of Atari Inc resigned and then the co-founder of the actually Atari company took over. So I'm thinking that we maybe seen something from them soon. However, reading on again Atari has been reporting close to $10 million in losses since 2005 so they really need to start doing something soon.
