legacyme3 : For a user that I respect so much I'm surprised to hear such a one-sided point of view coming from you. Nothing bugs me more than when people try to completely step on somebody else's opinions that way. A piece of s***? I own an Xbox 360 and I love it. (I also own a Gamecube and A Wii, so I'm not coming into this as a "Microsoft fanboy herpaderp") I don't understand what people like about the PS3, because from my experience it has a quite limited game library with little support from third-party developers. But I've never insulted PS3 owners or made remarks about the PS3, or called it a "hunking piece of s***". I would much prefer if you (and others) , rather than going "hey xbox 360 sucks!!!11!!!!" would say, "I dislike the Xbox 360, and here's why."

I prefer it to the N64 because frankly, I'm more likely to be interested in the newer, more high-tech stuff. The way I see it, the N64 WAS a revolutionary device but other consoles that were released VERY soon after, were WAY more powerful than the N64. The PS1, the Dreamcast, etc. I wasn't old enough to play games back then, so perhaps my opinion is biased, but I'm not afraid to admit it.

I grew up playing Nintendo 64 even though Nintendo 64 is the past and Xbox 360 is the present I still pick Nintendo 64, I love the games that I played when I was a little kid which included Mario, Pokemon, and Megaman which Xbox 360 doesn't have the games of Mario, Pokemon, and Megaman.

Id go for the n64,it has fond memorys and,given its an old console its games are stil pretty impressive.
Given the ps3 has everything the xbox 360 has and more,the 360 is somewhat obsolete.

It's the same thing, at the end of the day it's just my opinion. The 360 is a watered down PS3, with less cool exclusives. And no. Halo is not a cool exclusive. If the top exclusive on your system is an FPS, reevaluate your system.

I like both of them almost about the same. But if i had to chose i would probably go with the 360 just because it has live.

And its not that my "favorite exclusive" is an FPS, it's that I believe that exclusive to be better than PS3 exclusives such as inFamous. (can't think of many others right now)

With the PS3 as my all time favorite, and Gamecube and Wii(plays almost everything before it) out of the question N64 definitely as my choice. While I didn't own one I spent more time watching my friends play and playing 4-player on it almost as much as I did (play 2-4 player competitive & co-op) on PS2.

I'll argue that PSN is loads better. I've never had any of these so called issues connecting, and it's not hard to add people. Hell, I can do everything I'd want to while playing a game.

For one, I dislike the motion gaming fad. I think it's stupid, and a generational thing. I don't like the Wii. I don't like Move. I don't like Kinect. I don't like motion gaming. That said, I have tried all three. You can't have a solid opinion without having tried it. I think Move is better than Wii by loads, and I think it's also better than Kinect, although I can understand why someone would argue. Kinect is interesting, but I want to sit down and play a game, not feel like my performance is equal to how active I get. That's what gym class was for.

I don't see how. Even when PSN was down, they were kind, courteous, and helpful during everything. And once it came back it gave us free stuff. I mean, they handled everything well. Everytime I've had an issue with any microsoft product, it took them forever to get back to me. I have become irritated at Microsofts support. They have lost my trust.

Now you are grasping at straws. This shouldn't be listed as a reason you like a system more. Regardless, I will defend the PS3's Xross system is a lot smoother, and it takes no time at ALL to get used to.

I will further go on to say in extension that PS Home's Avatars are all LOADS better than the 360s.

Uncharted, Little Big Planet, Heavy Rain, 3D Dot Game Heroes, Disgea 3, Demons Souls, God of War 3, Gran Turismo 5, all the Ratchet and Clanks, Metal Gear Solid IV, Killzone 3, Resistance Series, and White Knight Chronicles.

You can't tell me NONE of those don't interest you. These games alone are worth a PS3. And that's without delving into how all the games actually fit on ONE disk. All the time. Without exception. I know many games on the 360 that require multiple disks. I like to think that Microsoft has the technology to advance past the old days of having to change disks halfway through the game.

legacyme3 : Look, I'm not trying to convince you to like Xbox better. I still prefer Xbox Live, it isn't hard to add people to that either. I do enjoy Motion Gaming, and when it comes to that I just prefer Kinect because its easier to use. Move's a bit shaky, and it still requires a remote that I feel was not ergonomically designed. I HAVE had trouble with Sony's customer service, I had problems with my PSP and they did not handle the situation well at all, whereas any problem I've had with Xbox 360, (and there's only been one) the customer support fixed it up for me well and handled the situation properly. I'm not grasping at straws, it was just what I could come up with on the top of my head.

Yes, the PS3 has alot of exclusives. Out of the ones you mentioned, only one interests me, and that's LittleBigPlanet. There are less 360 Exclusives, but more of them are ones that I'm interested in. (And yes, before buying a system, as I was trying to decide between PS3 and 360, I went through a list of every exclusive that's out for both of them, and I found about 6 or so that I was interested in on PS3, and about 13 or 14 that I was interested in on Xbox.) It's not just about exclusives, either.

This isn't the point though. Im not going to convince you Xbox is better, your not going to convince me PS3 or N64 is better.

Nintendo 64. It has a mass variety of games that are fun, while pretty much most of XBox 360's games are just FPS games.

I prefer the N64 because it was so revolutionary and has a amazing game library. Xbox 360 just doesn't have as good selection in my opinion.

I definitely prefer the N64. It's a classic. I love the console, I love the controller, I love the games - I pretty much love everything about it. I wish I had one. =/

I go with the N64 after the N64 sony and sega decided to make a analog stick to the controllers lousy scums .the N64 is a true console that made history

N64 hands down. It was revolutionary, and the first popular 3D gaming system. It has a very wide variety of games, most of which best 360 games. All the 360 has is Dragonball Z and FPS games. The N64 has way better titles, and overall just better gameplay. You don't just point and shoot, it actually involves thinking, not button mashing. The N64 wins any day.

Both games are considered the best of its generation, but in a battle, the games for the N64 have too much value to them, so N64 wins.

Although the Xbox 360 has much better graphics, most of the games on there are FPS, which gets kinda old if it's pretty much the same game. The N64 focused on more than one gen of gaming. It also has Ocarina of Time, so it must be an awesome console if it has such an awesome game =P    Sure, the Xbox has some great multi-player games (mainly FPS), and you can download a load of different games via the arcade-thingy, but I just prefer the charm of the N64 and it's games, music, controls and game play.

The Nintendo 64 of course! it's a classic console, unlike the xbox 360 the nintendo 64 doesn't get any "red ring of death" and the Nintendo 64 has many great games like Super Mario 64, Super Smash Bros, Perfect Dark, Donkey Kong 64, Mario Kart 64, and Don't forget the crown jewel which is The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. I had an Xbox 360 for only a couple of months until it got the red ring and I couldn't play it anymore. My Nintendo 64, I had it for more than a decade by now (I have my 64 neatly stored in my closet) and it still works well! enough said =P
