I swear a lot, probably more than I should. Honestly I don't really care that much because words are just that....words. Although it is annoying if every other word a person says is a swear word. That just makes them sound less than intelligent.

For awhile I had been pretty casual with them, but I've been trying to change that recently. Back when I did it far more often, I figured that words didn't mean much of anything on their own, and it depended upon the person and the usage (George Carlin, anybody?). Many of the words I've heard that were known as cuss words had a previous meaning that wasn't bad, and were actually used in polite conversation for a long time before someone decided they actually were bad words. However, when I thought about it, a lot of the words I used were in anger or at someone, so the usage was bad. I just find it easier to avoid them now.

I don't swear a lot around my family and friends, just a bit at work. Since I'm in the Army, a lot of people swear and use the words as normally as they speak any other. Which is the case with. You kinda pick up on it after a while.
But I swear the most when I'm playing Call of Duty online and things are far from going my way. The only time I go into "epic rage" mode, or even get angry is when I'm playing that soul-sucking game.:< I use words I didn't even know existed. |

I do, but I do not overuse swears. I am just more of a casual swearer. Nothing extreme. That is unless I stub my toe really bad or something like that. Then it all flows out like crazy.

It all depends on who I'm with, certain older people, like my best friend or a few cousins, I swear like I talk, normally and easily, but most other people I don't even say crap around. It's just a matter of who I'm with, and sometimes where I am.

As long as someone isn't berating me, or swearing directly TOWARDS me, I don't really mind that much. I mean as I said before, words are just words. If someone swears because they die in a video game, or because they drop something and it broke I don't see what the big deal is...

I rarely swear... in English lol
I'll only swear under my breath- in japanese since no one knows what I'm saying. But I don't swear around my mom like that since she knows lol. Funny thing is, I know I get it from my parents because my dad will cuss to be funny and my mom will cuss in 2 languages to be funny AND when she's angry. I'm glad I have my grandma around to keep me straight xD |

Most of the times I do swear but mostly around my friends, if I swear not around my friends then that will only mean that I am mad about something and that is the only way that I feel that I can vent on whatever I am mad about. It gives you a sense of relief of your chest and let you feel calm in the end because you got it all out through words and not through the violence of fighting. It just my opinion but it is a great idea for me and maybe if you don't swear you should try it one day.

Not often do I swear; I do my best to not. But it's not like it doesn't slip out in an argument or whatever, it just occurs based on what the situation is. Swearing isn't something that's always (considered) necessary.

I swear a little bit. I'm trying to keep from doing it as much these days. Back when I was still in school I used to swear like a sailor. Surprisingly I rarely if ever got in trouble for it.

I swear a lot, unfortunately. But it is like a habbit, it is so hard to stop. However I am cutting down greatly, I used to swear at least once or twice a sentence... But now it is down to every now and again. I also find myself swearing around certain friends. I guess peer pressure got to me a bit? Since they were swearing, I thought I had to swear. But no I don't and I'm going to try to stop by the end of the year.. That is a good New Year's Resolution! Yeah, a lot of my friends swear to. But I hate GD, and stuff like that. But I deal with it...usually.

I never used to swear at all, but now I swear on a constant basis. When I pay attention to my swearing habit, I can cut down considerably, but when I'm not thinking about it, I tend to get in trouble often because I accidentally swear when I'm talking to a teacher, or loudly in the middle of class, or even worse... Accidentally saying it to my Dad.
