asdff123 : When reviewing an Atari game, you shouldn't rank the categories comparing them to modern games. If that were the case, all Atari games would have the lowest graphic ratings, story ratings, etc. You are supposed to be more fair by considering what processing power was like back then when this game was made. So you compare the story of this Atari game with stories of other Atari games. Nobody is saying Pac-Man story rivals modern game stories, but that is like comparing apples and oranges.

Ugh, this game is horrible, but still. E.T. was even worse. The Arcade and Nintendo ones are way better, that being obvious, but it's a classic either way. E.T. is something you'd see on your way to hell. I'd much rather play this game than E.T. any day, no matter how bad it is.

That's not what I was saying. I was saying that people generally put the story for Pac man at a six or seven when they review it and that doesn't make sense. while it was unfair to reference modern games even many classic games had better stories then Pac-man and got rated at four or five such as the first two final fantasies. Even mortal kombat was closer to having a story then Pac-man.

All the E.T games are terrible. The Atari one Made no sense. The others are just boring games that should really be arcade games because they are too short.

The scariest thing about E.T other than his appearance is that in E.T digital companion for the Game boy color, he asks for your Zip code or Post code depending on the region of the game.
