I would regret nearly everything, just as I do now.
My mind is constantly spinning thinking, "Had I done this instead I wouldn't have hurt them" or, "Had I not done that I wouldn't have hurt myself."

A life filled with regret = Me

Even worse, when I try to fix things, I think of the Great Gatsby and decide it's best to just leave it be.
