there is like a serious statistic error with the police records... i mean, Taz, crushed something like 250 cop cars in his career... and yet when you look @ the number of cops involved in his chases theres like 50... and he crushed 250 over the career span of 20 min chases

he must of crushed not involved cop cars i guess :s and alot of them... 4 for every 1 car involved

Games are about storylines these days... Now i didnt really get UG2 story cause of not playing UG1... What is the story like in MW?

u pull up in a town... in your pimped out ride... and then beat a bunch of chumps and get to challange this dick named razor... he cuts your fuel line or something and you lose the race and your ride... Razor becomes 1 on the blacklist... and you have to climb the ranks to beat him, as a revenge/get my ride back/teach the cheating loser a lesson kinda plot... but it developes more in game... with a heap of untrustworthy people calling you up with advice you never asked for...

I will probably get one of the two of these at some point. But I have quite a few games to look forward too right now.

Can anyone summarize what each games pro's and con's are. I may pick one of them up this fall.

U2 = nighttime + neons + more car accessories and feels longer, dual-racing (outrun) random cars, slipstreaming, drifting races (awesome fun), street x (tiny courses with sharp corners), it is possible to do a 180 turn quite easily, more detailed performance settings of your car
MW = daytime (yawn), cops, which have very good ai, heat level (determines how badly the cops want to take you in, adding paint/spoilers and stuff lower the heat), curcuit breakers (basiclly stuff you crash through so whatever cops behind you are taken out), a decent storyline and racers with a face, speedtrap (fastest total speed on police cameras across the course, wins - awesome fun), tollbooth (checkpoint time trial)

also, U2 was voted as 2004/5 (i forget) "most ads in 1 game" and MW is very similar

So which is the better game?

it varies doesnt it? as the poll indicates its fairly even, if you like cop chases, then go MW, if you prefer the racing, then go U2.

I think U2 is cheaper, so I guess I'll buy that one unless the other drops in price as well by the time I buy it.

Need for speed: Highstakes had the Holden and a Ford So they have done it...

I'll probably want to use a Porsche, does either NFS U2 or MW have one?

I dont know about MW but i dont recall U2 having one... meaning if it did it sucked... I think the 3 best cars in that were Subaru, Mustang and i think Lancer...
