Because I got a touch of it, and I loved it. And i want more and more.

Science, much. But when it comes to the big bang. Science made something up, just because they needed to say something happned.

I'm Pagan because I'm a tree hugging dirt lover. (kind of a hippie who worships the Earth). Worshipping mother earth as the one who keeps us alive. I'm Pagan because it is the path of life that I have chosen, though it is brutal. Picking herbs and burning incense, meditation, spells, making potions... it's not only intriguing, but I've found it to be peaceful, despite the accusations of the Christian "Devil worship" even though there is no real "Devil" in my Paganism, for that would be a different religion.

Hate? I do my best not to hate, but it's hard when you're being oppressed for centuries.

There is nothing wrong with any other belief system. Religion is something that gives you life experiences, understanding. I think it comes down to a person's comfort zone. It's no one's business what you believe. I won't talk about religion until someone else starts to. It's a private thing for me, until I'm with a group of other Pagans.

You won't understand fully what I do until it is experienced, and it can only be experienced by a believer, and I believe that goes for every religion.

I've been Christian, I've felt good after leaving church, and I had fun gaining knowledge about Christianity in general. I just find that it doesn't suit me. I'd rather be a Goddess worshipper. I know she exsists because she is always around us. She is the Earth.

I'm a christian because I was born a bigot, that's all there is to it.

wow... I find it rather sad that Christians don't know who the Gnostics were.

but hey... no one is perfect I guess.... I know next to nothing about what Belial believes or does with respect to her religion so I can't say I'm much better

My statment is a perfectly logical conclusion from what Belial said. I think what shes saying though out her post has to do with leaving Christianity due to a bad expariance. But just the same, it seems she doesn't talk about what she believes much... or at least doesn't post much about it. We could guess... but that would likely get us into trouble wouldn't it?

I don't really know what I am... I grew up without faith in the household.. My parents never speak of god, jesus, or church in anyway, and if it was ever mentioned, it was only about Jehovah's Witnesses and how horrible they are, and the horrible things they did to my mother as a child... I've never been to a church service ever... Does that make me an athiest or what? Not knowing what to believe or how to believe it... Until I was in grade school I never even knew the story of christ, and to this day, I only really know what I heard/learned in school or from my friends...

I remember one time, when I was younger, my family and I were at a wedding or something, and my little sister pulled on my Mom's dress and pointed to Jesus on the crusifix and said "Whats that guy doing up there on that thing?"... So I say I'm an athiest, but I guess I'm really just undecided..

I disagree with this whole religions people hating others of a diffrent thing. It seems it's like that most of the time. It seems you hate something more when you don't study it in turn also causing you to be of a narrow mind.

As for not knowing what you believe, that would likely fall into the catagory of undecided.

Glenn, it doesn't make you an atheist...like you said, just undecided.

Most Christians view Jehovah's Witnesses as a perversion of Christianity, a cult of sorts. Sort of the way terrorists twist Islam, Jehovah's Witnesses twist Christianity...at least that's how I have been taught. So if that was the only thing holding you back from ever going to church, I'd encourage you to give it a shot. Talk to Dave or something. You know him in real life, right?

Jehovah's Witnesses remind me of the Mormons... and The Crusades.

I've never really had a bad experience. I've never had to blame 'God' for anything, nor have I ever met any cruel Christians. Well, maybe one. And she's not really cruel so much as very pushy about her beliefs. She's psycho about it... O.o
