Time for my third and final entry. I claimed Pokémon Red early in the competition. Now I'm taking Pokémon Yellow .


Pokémon Yellow Mew Glitch







All 3 pictures are tied into the glitch. The first image shows where the player is standing right before the process of making the glitch occurs (go down one space to get started). The second picture shows when I caught it. The third shows Mew's stats after some leveling up.

This is another major moment since Mew is nearly impossible to acquire without glitching the game. It could only be obtained through a special promotional event by Nintendo. For those of us who didn't go to that event, we rely on this wonderful glitch to deliver Mew.

Davideo7 : Yeah, sorry. I read the rules, I just wanted clarity. I think it's kinda unfair that people can post the start screen of a game and that "reserves" the game for them, especially if the contest is up for vote. That's just my humble opinion anyways.

The Barbarian utterly humiliates and defeats the Armored End Boss of the game "Dossun! Ganseki Battle". It was hard to get to the end and to defeat him which is why this is a very epic moment and the music was great for a final battle. This is my third and final screenshot.

I would have posted the moment you got the HAV suit in HL2, the moment you first meet the flood in Halo Combat Evolved, anytime you get UBERCHARGED in TF2, when you fight GLaDOS in Portal (pre order Portal 2 ), when you slam a door in Mirror's edge or when you get promoted (job) in the Sims (PROOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMOOTION).

I plan on taking a snapshot of Sonic the hedgehog, so that game is reserved for me .

Yeah I kinda agree, the contest seems to be, Best Video Game, not Best Video Game moment. Most of these games best moments were actually playing in the actual game, Zelda was amazing but the best game moment wasn't the load screen for me, beating Ganon, collecting, supplies, or gathering tri-force? Maybe I was sheltered as a child and was never taught the great appreciation for load screens. But some of you should take the time to play some of these great games. IMO, they only get better after you hit the Start Button

That's what I did for my submissions. I got to the mastersword part of Link to the Past, but for one of them, (PacMan) I did the start screen, because that part was a great moment for me, when you first heard the iconic sound =)

The title screens really mean nothing to me. All of my submissions are used, but if I had a picture in mind I might submit the title screen just to claim the game until I get the picture.

The other problem is the voting. If most of the people who vote think that the title screen is a great moment, then the moments that are actually part of a game will lose.

I was just trying to state that there are many moments in games that could be used. . ,i.e. Golgo 13, Was your favorite moment when you finally got the M-16 complete, or it could be when Duke Togo had a sex scene in a video game, both great parts. But title screen cover both and hides both as well.
I have viewed the submitted list, and not many jump out at me as memorable moments.

I may just disqualify any submissions that time didn't go into. So in other words, if it only took someone a few seconds to come up with their great moment, their submission wont count. People should be ranked on the amount of time they put into their submission.
