yeah, Jesus was a Jew. So Judaism came first and Christianity is really a sect of that religion. Jews are still waiting for the Messiah while Christians believe that Jesus was the Messiah.

Christians are more or less "New Jews". If you want to look at it simply...the old testament was written by Jews, the New Testament was written by Christians, or New Jews.
