Least Favorite Sci-Fi Movie?

As I have only watched a few of them, it would probably be "Sphere", the movie was pretty dull and boring in my opinion.

If you read the books first, then Jurassic Park III is somewhat lame. It's just a patchwork of everything from the books that they didn't put in the first two movies.

WarpStarFerret : I really liked Jurassic Park III.

I didn't really like Sphere that much though it was kinda dull.

Voyage to the Prehistoric Planet.
Boring characters, bad acting, uninteresting plot, monsters that seem more like random encounters from Final Fantasy, and it wasn't very appealing to look at: the scenery was devoid of any character. An all-around unappealing movie for a title that seems so promising.

WarpStarFerret : going back a bit now, i know, but id say that the books were lame anyway, a rare instance of me prefering the movies to the books.  Have i had this discussion with you before? im getting deja vu...
Anyway, my answer is Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home.
That movie was the biggest pile of *insert appropriate word here * i have ever seen in a sci fi.
I mean honestly, "oh no, aliens have travelled across a vast distance to see why the whales they were studying, which they could somehow monitor across the galaxy, have stopped sounding and ignore the much higher evolved humans in there search for them somehow almost destroying the earth.
oh its ok, in this moment of danger iv just now realised how to travel through time, despite no one else who was trying to do it actually managing it, and whats more, iv got all i need on this ship, how conveniant"
The only 2 good bits was the russian sounding guy asking the americans during the cold war where there nuclear 'wessels' were kept, and the bit where theyre like, "oh no! the whales are going to drown"
i dont know why but every time i hear that i collapse to the ground laughing, the idea of whales drowing just seems rediculous, i know it can happen but it just seems such a hilarious concept.

'The Fountain' starring Hugh Jackman.  I have had to replay hours of video games because I died without saving and still not felt like I wasted my time as much as watching this movie.
