For personal reasons I had to go with FFX and X-2 as I played those during a great time in my life so they are a lot more than just a couple of great games. However I will say that I had so much more fun with FFX-2 without that whiny Tidus around to listen to!

I still really have never gotten into FF6 or 7 for some reason. Im sure I would be all about 6 had I ever given it a fair chance.

I love the Dawn Of Souls remake on GBA, those are some of my other personal favorites.

My favorite will always be Final Fantasy VII (#7), mostly because it was the VERY FIRST Final Fantasy game I have ever played... and 2ndly because that game also made me cry when Aerith/Aeris died, so yeah...

Next up on my list would be Final Fantasy X & Final Fantasy X-2... mostly because of the speech Yuna gave at her Thunder Plains Concert, that was touching and I also felt like crying.

I would have to say VII as well because it was my first game in the final fantasy game series (it is pretty much was the game that got me hooked to FF) and I just really enjoyed the storyline in that one.

Depends on the specific of the game. Story wise, it's Final Fantasy IV. Character wise, it's Final Fantasy VII. Cloud Strife is my favorite character. As for game play, I like the "real-time battle" deal the best (more challenging), so IV and VII fit in that category.

I've played every game in the Final Fantasy franchise and Final Fantasy VII gets my vote for the best one.  It was a combination of good story and awesome role playing that won me over.

Even in later installments, except for 12, it's the

I haven't really experienced the other final Fantasy games but as far as I'm concerned at this point. Final Fantasy 1 really takes the cake for me. But what do I know? I have only really seen the first one.

FF7 is just horrible... I didn't like it. I remember freaking out though about FF8, and completely ignored monkey filled 9 and totally went crazy about 10. Found out 10 and 7 were the only two sequential numbers in the series to be in the same universe, so I gave it another shot and still didn't like it. Maybe the remake will change my mind. But honestly its a big battle between 10 and 8. But personally 10 is my favorite.

for me its ff10 I love everything about that game the gameplay soundtracks and the story it made me cry at some moments in the game and I really enjoy playing it as well like the others I have been playing ff10 for years since I was young

Well I have only played one Final Fantasy game, the one that recently came out Final Fantasy 13-2 would be my favorite by default. But it was a really good game will breath taking graphics but the story line/plot was lacking a bit and I felt it was dragged out longer than what it had to be.
