I'm shy around girls in general, i'm only not shy after getting comfterble with a girl as in talking many times and at that stage i'm still really nervous. Although i'd like to get a date i'd rather be able to just talk to a girl first. but like many other people i'm a shy person whos afraid of what people will think if i go up to a girl and talk (especially ask 1 out) and rejection......

any tips for me

I only give out the same advice on woman/girls over and over again. What advice I have for you?

Stay away from the bad ones. Know that if you have a good woman, its much better than being rich, or having a good career.

How to get over being shy? Just talking to people, hanging out with them. In alot of cases in my life I am quiet. Nothing wrong with that, I just have nothing to say. I'm sure once you find girls thaet have things in common with you, the talking will come. Just try to stay calm and relax. Don't do any thing to hasty, AND DON"T TRY TO ACT COOL. Just be cool.

but how can i get to know a girl if i'm too shy to go up to her........ that would be my problem, once i get to know a girl if i'm that bad i'll talk to u abotu that but even talking to a random girl is hard for me unless she starts the conversation.

I also need some tips on what to talk about, even with my best friend/a random freind or even a girl i never have anything to say, i can never think of anything to talk about.....

talk about what you know, talk about what you like to talk about. Tell about funny things that happened during the day.

ASK THEM QUESTIONS. If you can get people to talk, most girls really like to. and questions lead to more questions.

Just don't let yourself be shy. I'm not saying be the most outgoing person ever, but don't worry about being shy. On what to talk about that is up to you for friends. Just think about what both you and they like (or dislike) and talk about that, that could lead to other convos.
Now as far as random girls I always use the comedy approach. If I notice something funny I say it to a random person if a friend isn't around (but that is what I'm good at so that is something you have to figure out for yourself). I'm not a big talker, but I do like to have conversations. I just have to find the right girls (or friends) to get the conversation started. I have a few friends that like having convos, and one off the top of my head that likes to take over a convo. I don't mind because I'm a good listener.

You just have to figure out what your strenghts are and play to them.

Don't be afraid to give a girl praise (but not flattery (meaning don't just say they look good to impress them)). When you say they look pretty, mean it. A female friend said not to tell them they look "nice" go with pretty or beautiful if you think they are beautiful. But always when giving a compliment be honest. Coming back to you being shy don't worry about it. You can't get to know people unless you talk to them.
If you were in college and had to walk outside to classes I would say to get a big umberella and walk girls to class when it was raining and they didn't have one.

i'm shy aswel, around cetain people, especially new girls, that i havn't met it is a pit fall but i find it helpful to go out with a friend or to and then you can fall bak to talking to the friend and not feel compelled to talk to new people also your friend can help you by being there wen your talkin to her..

just relax, and truely the best advise is find people that you "click" with people who you instantly feel comfortable with, that way you know you've got something good going, but don't think just caauz the friendship clicked the relationship will go further, sometimes jsut friends is a better solution

ummm i just can't do it unless it's the perfect time. Is there any way so get a girl to talk to you, and thing you can think of even if she told me my shoe laces were untied i could probobly start a convo somehow. however it's the going up to people thats the hardest for me......

Types of conversations:

A girl you know:
You: "Hey (her name), how are you?

A girl you don't know but have seen around a bit:
You: " Hi. I see you around quite a bit and just wanted to introduce myself. I'm (your name)."
If she introduces herself you say: "Nice to meet you."

A girl you know or don't know that has one or both shoelaces untied:
Hey, (her name if you know it) be careful your shoelace is untied."

A random girl you have never met:
"Hi, I'm (your name), will you marry me?"

it's not that i can't think of somethign to say.... it's that i don't have the guts to go up to any girl beacuse i'm to shy to.

what i need to a way of thinking of how i can overcome this.

Just think of it as it not being a big deal. You won't know what any girl will say til you talk to her.

thats the problem i think of it as a big deal, boy or girl.... i'm one of the most popular kids like every guy in my grade knows me, girls know who i am..... put i didn't go up to any of them not even 1 they all came up to me.... exept for the girls they know me from classes and talking about me, dunno what they say but i know at one point they said something.

I didn't go up to one of them because for no reason i can understand i have trouble going up to people i odn't know, when i came for my entrance test, i stuck with my friends form my old school, after the first day i knew alot of people beacuse they came to me, they started talking to me.......

I can't seem to get over this fear no matter how hard i try. if i were to get to know the girl it would be easy but to go up to someone to meet them, i'v never done before...

Well, you're 14...MY tip...Don't worry about girls right now, just your education. Chicks love a smart guy to do her h/w.

I ordered subliminal audio software that you can listen to as you sleep which programs your mind to be less shy, and it's actually helped me a little bit to become more out going, if anyone is interested I can rip it and upload it.

I can't believe that thing actually works... I always thought of it as a cheap ploy to get people to buy something.. Promising an unattainable goal... If you really want to get over your shyness, you should just practice talking to people, everyday conversations, after a while the gift of gab comes naturally..

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about being shy when your young anyways. It comes with age and experience. Just try to be calm and relax. to be truthful there are no Final answers to your question, there are no perfect or absolute either. It just depends on you. A resolve to be more outgoing and less sy is the first step.
