I got your email, BigBob, but I think the same day I got it, my computer crashed. (One of the things I've been busy with fixing.) So I forgot about the email.

About getting the source file of the Flash, I wouldn't spend too much time with that yet. This has to do with the news we are planning to release soon.

About CTRemake.com, I'll give the official OK on that. Question, though...will we be able to change the URL it redirects to if necessary? And how easy will it be to do that?

It should be a simple process for the register-er to change the URL in which it redirects (as simple as logging into an account and changing it.)

I'm going (atleast trying to) promote this on forums, etc. where I go to, I'm not myself very good for colllecting names. I'm propably going to print one out and write my own name to it plus ask from my brother.

Most project efforts are on a temporary standby until we can get the new site up. Speading the word is good, but keep in mind that our URL will change in a little while.

Well, just give out the CTRemake.com URL... We can always change that to point to our new URL when it comes up. And by the way, "a little while" means (hopefully) a month or two.

Oh, and current count is 55, not 45.

I just went to the PLAY! - A Video Game Symphony premiere in Chicago, and Chrono Trigger got a standing ovation. In fact, the applause for Chrono Trigger/Cross were the loudest and longest applause there -- louder than for Nobuo Uematsu, louder than for Halo, louder than Zelda's applause.

It really inspired me to become more involved in this project. Godspeed on the new website. I'll be checking in once every week, or so, to see any updates.

Until then, I'll be happy knowing that Chrono got the recognition it deserved.

If CT did get remade what system would it be on? because I am not about to fork out $600 for a PS3 just to buy this one game no matter how good it is.

That would be up to SE.

Even if it ends up being for PS3, remember that we're talking about a game whose development hasn't even begun. In other words, by the time it is released, PS3 will have dropped its price significantly.

My Internet was acting up so I lost this nice big reply I had typed up for you.

The gist is, there's a lot going on behind the scenes that you CAN'T see, just not much going on where you CAN see. Signatures are slow (in fact I haven't gotten any in awhile), so we're working on a cooperative effort, merging our site with that of the Chrono Trigger Novel Petition... Petitions will remain separate, but sites will be combined so that they will benefit from our viewers and vice versa.

We're also working on ideas and strategies to motivate fans to take the time to sign and mail (laziness has been a big obstacle here), as well as ideas on how to reach people who used to be Chrono Trigger fans but have moved on and forgotten the game... Thus, they're not going to be searching for Chrono Trigger sites or Chrono Trigger Remake stuff...so how to reach them?

Those are the things going on behind the scenes right now. We still are optimistic that the goal Square set is attainable, but only with the right methods.
