I don't believe in karma.

Both good and bad things happen to people all of the time just by chance. When people do something they know to be wrong, they feel guilty about it, and when one of those random bad events occur to them, they notice it and attribute a specific meaning to it, as humans do by nature.

When good things happen to people after they've done something bad, though, they tend to not notice because they're preoccupied with their feeling of guilt. If it's a really good thing that's impossible to not notice, though, it might just make them feel even more guilty because they feel that they don't deserve it after what they've done.

The only reason that good things tend to happen to good people and bad things happen to bad people is that humans have a strong sense of justice, so they often make decisions, both consciously and subconsciously, that either improve the lives of people they perceive to be good, or make the lives of people they perceive to be bad more miserable.

I personally do not think that it is actually real but I do think that you get what you get for a reason. I believe that you deserve what happens to you.

Yeah i have a mean ass cousin that's rather live to be evil   then to be good.He's pick on me more then anybody and i'm his cousin.But here's a story i have to tell you back in summer of 2001 me him and another cousins of ours went out to party .The party kicked in and we notice not many people was inside the house so we went to see where they all went .We head outside where  a fight was about to broke out but they tempted to work things out before anything would happen.I walked back into the house 1st then my cousin follow and one of the fighter walk right next to him by cousin had and altecation with one of the fighter.Then the fighter said something to him my cousin swore at him then the fighter kicked his ass worse then a punching bag and the fighter is short i couldn't believe how he beat the snot out of my cousin it was worth watching hahaha Years went by I stop hanging out with my cousin but then i heard the worse news that he was moving in with me.He was trying yto get me to fight him literally he's mental.He done a few bad things to me .So he left the house one day i said to god "Why is he here ?I came to move to vegas to enjoy my life and  he comes here to ruin it?I heard a voice that said "We will get him back." 20 minutes later i heard he went in to a car accident.Long story short he couldn't take anymore and move back to Ca .I'm so bless to have a guardian angel that watches over me like this  !!

My mother worked hard all her life, and she has nothing to show for it. I know people who haven't done s*** in years, and have the rich life.

Neither got what they deserved.

No. Too many people benefit from the misery they've caused others.  While many people are born into unfortunate circumstances as well.

Somewhat I do believe in Karma, what comes around goes around, so above all it does happen weather you believe in it or not.

But that does not stop be from trying to be a good person. I believe that using karma as the reason to be good is just being good out of fear, not out of realization that it is the right thing to do.

As has been stated, there are many that have caused great grief and not been punished enough. And vice versa with good people. I just don't see it, at least not in the context in which Karma is used today.

Well Karma ...is like the deeds that you do ...has got an effect on your life....Well earlier I did believe in it roughly, but with time I do not know if I believe it or not...but I try to do good actions...though.

Geldra : I do believe in Karma. There's really no way to prove that there is... But I believe in it. I've had some situations where Karma was definitely there. But others where it wasn't.

I would like to belive that Karma exists, but the thing is, that it seems like a lot of a-holes in this world have a lot of money and power. People whom are heartless, rude, violent, or unforgiving.

I don't know where I stand on Karma, both the philosophical/spiritual/religious term and the simple bastardized version everyone talks about ("Do bad things and you'll get what you deserve.") Mainly because terrible things happen to good people... and soulless, greedy subhumans get away with doing evil things.

The yes or no part is kind of hard to answer. I can't say for sure that I believe in Karma, but I do know that there's something that crosses our paths whether it helps us or hinders us. The way we react to people/things also has something to do with it.

Yes I do. I believe our decisions will affect our future and depending on how you choose to handle situations either by being kind (positive) or being a jerk (negative) will affect how people feel towards you and not to mention whether good things or bad things will happen to you.

Its hard to say no or yes to that. What goes around comes around usually does happen. But then again, sometimes it doesn't happen, so I don't know how to answer this. It seems neutral.

Well, sort of... I don't believe that there is some benevolent being out there named Karma making sure that everything balances out, and that good people have good things happen to them and bad people get punished. That's the height of being ridiculous. But I do believe that, in general, what comes around goes around and things tend to even out. If you're a nice, caring person, people will be more willing to help you. If you put good in, good comes out. Similarly, the sort of people who do bad things tend to put themselves into positions to have others do the same to them. So maybe I don't exactly believe in karma, but I like to think that if I'm a good guy, life will be just a tad bit nicer for me.

I think Karma is a nice idea, at least the popular idea of do good, good will come. Do bad, bad will come. But it's silly. Someone bullies you in school, then gets hit by a car ten years later. "Timmy finally got his!"

No. Good and bad happens to all people every day. It's unrealistic to think that because you did volunteer work last week, it is the sole reason you found 20 bucks laying on the sidewalk today. And that bee sting? For sure because you locked your sister out of the house all night. Do you see where I'm going with this? Like everyone else said, you can be a piece of crap all your life and still win the lottery. And you can be a completely kind person and die like a dog.

Now before anyone gets carried away, I don't think that should influence whether you to do good things or bad things. Obviously if you do good for others, the favor will be returned. And if you torment others, you will probably get your butt whooped. But that has nothing to do with karma. That's just common sense. A little moral guidance doesn't hurt, either.

well not entirely but I think karma only occurs by chance anyways.
