knuckles! because he has super strength high physical durability the ability to transform into a more powerfull form (not anymore) and he has the power to control the master emerald. also knuckles has a transformation stronger than his super form. (hyper knuckles) but he only performed this transformation in sonic the hedgehog 3 and in sonic and knuckles. sonic and knuckles 3 does not count, because it was basically the game. except the entire story line of sonic & knuckles and sonic the hedgehog was put together.

My favorite Sonic character is Sonic lol, but my favorite excluding Sonic would ether be Mighty the Armadillo and Espio the Chameleon because I am a really big fan of the Knuckles Chaotix game for the 32x. Mighty and Espio are my favorite sidekicks in the Sonic series. I love Tails but he is not half as good of a sidekick as the the Chaotix crew.
