Well no not really kids these dasys are expirenceing more so what just to be a rated M game is a game for teens now a days

I like SOME modern games. They do make some great games, but I PREFER retro games.

I just feel that A. They make games too easy to beat nowadays because they don't want to irritate people with the difficulty. Personally I like the level of difficulty found in games during the NES era. I always loved the challenge, and felt that when you complete a game like that you feel like you really accomplished something. The games nowadays darn near walk you through every step of what you need to do.

B. A lot of games nowadays focus so much on graphics and cinematics that they don't put as much time in the actual gameplay aspect. I just think that a lot of games now just seem like a movie where you play for a few mins then watch another cut scene.

C. FPS games dominate the market. I got burned out on those games long ago. Most of them focus so much on the online multiplayer experience that they don't even care about the single player campaign. For example the last two CoD games single player missions take less than 8 hours to complete. So it's like you are paying 60$ for nothing but an online game.

Well, certainly not all new games are overrated. Of course, you have the games you would expect, like CoD and Halo. But it isn't all the new games, no way. It's just that now you will hear and see so much of these certain franchise games that it seems like it's every game you hear about.

C.o.D is SO overrated. I played it at my friends house for the first time and im like, "wait THIS is COD?!" the controls are almost impossible to figure out (to run you have to click the control stick in THEN move the stick) and its really hard to find out where you are, what to do, and killing someone is really hard.
