I'm not good at thinking up questions. If you wanna create a date in general thread for advice go ahead, but why would you create one just for me?

If you want to go to the trouble to make a thread go ahead. But you have to keep in mind I'm 19 and she is just a little older, and the dating game changes just a bit at that age.

And this was sorta on topic, but yeah a bit of a tangent, so back on topic from now on.

Well I usually find myself on the giving of advice that I should have got previously. For intance I learn lessons in life that I want others to know. To spare them the mistake, and to be able to remember My mistake. Off the top of my head here are the three RULES.

1. Only get serious with somone you could see yourself marrying and having kids with.
2. To get a GF you actually have to ask them to be your GF.
3. Proverbs 31


Also know it is better to have a good wife and be dirt poor, than be Bill Gates and have a b**** of a wife. AND YES that is biblical.

It is nice to have a GF, but it is also nice NOT to have a GF, I mean both of them are kindof blessings. You should feel happy you don't have one. Lets you get better grades, hang out with friends more, and post more.

Another thing is to not feel hurried or left behind. Trust me if you don't have a gf by 21 you still don't have anything to worry about. Girls actually like that kind of thing. OH SWEET! You have never kissed any other girls? Or stuff like that. AND once you get a girlfriend it will take you .2 nanoseconds to catch up to everyone else.

NO PRESSURE, it was funny, right when I decided I didn't want a gf thats when they started coming out of the woodworks. Opportunities started coming out of the woodworks.

thanx for the advise zylo, wat you say is very tru, it does feel like im left behind, like im unwanted sometimes to, the worst thing is having a friend you hold so dear turnin into a friend you like more then a friend but she will never like you bak that way and tellin her will make things sour, it hurts now acutally

That didn't ever work for me. For a while there I didn't care much about getting a gf, and nothing happened.

agreed. i didn't mean i totaly ignored girls, i ment i became less obvius that i was after them, i still flirted and stuff i just didn't act as if i wanted to go out with em. oh and im not asking them cauz i already know the answer, a painfull one, and then tension would happen so im not going there

As a lot of you know, there's a girl I've been interested in for awhile, and since she freaks out over having even her first name mentioned, on here I've been calling her Padmé. (You can catch the details on that here.

Anyway, I just don't even know what to say... She will probably be moving up here from where she currently lives, probably in January. She's looking at some apartments in a small town close to where I live... Anyway, so much has happened, and we're so happy together. There's not a doubt in my mind that she's "the one." How did we get here? I'm not sure... We went through the same troubles that have been mentioned earlier, about how she didn't want to get into a relationship because it might spoil our friendship... But I guess the way we got past that was that she realized that our friendship has already been through so much... Our friendship has survived the fact that she went through a very deep relationship with another guy (whom I refer to as "Obi-Wan" in the thread pointed to above), and it tested our friendship to the absolute limit. There were several times when she and I thought we'd never speak to each other again...but we were wrong, praise God.

Afterwards, even in spite of all the anger I had to deal with against her and against Obi-Wan, I still cared for her. I wouldn't have said (at the time) that I loved her, but I did care for her. That left her wondering why I still cared, when she didn't deserve it...and when we talked about that, that's when it finally clicked that this was "real deal" love, the kind that can go through anything and still come out on top. She had done things that SHOULD have caused me to not love her anymore, but I still did. On the same token, I had done things that SHOULD have caused her not to love me anymore, yet she still did.

And that's the key. It left her wondering, "Why does Jacob still love me?" And while the answer might be beyond her comprehension, all she has to do is accept that love. The acceptance is the key. Let me put it this way: If the girl you like can actually understand and grasp why you like her, something's not quite right. For it to really work, both of you should have such a deep love for each other that is beyond each other's comprehension, or even your own.

The fact is, in answer to Padmé's question about why I still love her: I can't NOT love her. I was made to. Even when I hated her, I still loved her, if that makes sense.

So to sum up my latest 50-page post... Just be there for her to support her and care for her... When she needs it, that is. Eventually, if she's the one you are meant for, she'll start wondering why you feel the way you do...and when she can't figure it out, that's when things will really start to happen.

Hopstar, I used to be in your boat exactly. Not really having a specific girl in mind, but wanting to truly love someone and make her feel special. And like you, I didn't know what girls look for either. This may not be for you, but I stepped entirely out of the dating scene for about a year and a half. During that time, I did nothing but study girls and their reactions to different things. I spent lots of time thinking about why they respond the way they do when guys do different things. Lots of time trying to see things from their perspective, why they are so emotional sometimes (besides just hormones), and of course, what they look for. While I'm nowhere near having the definitive answer to the enigma that we call "woman," I think I've made some progress that would make even Freud proud... Think about doing this yourself.

Hopstar has too much time to get with women... He is young, YOu are YOUNG HOPSTAR. I'm making my vizzed comic about women. I can't really think of somthing for vash though, I had somthing in mind, but then I went back to read some of these threads... I hope I come up with somthing good.
