Fighting/Flying

Advantages: Due to being part flying, but also part fighting, it takes normal damage from fighting type attacks. The blending of two types that are weak as either of the types solely gives the user an edge when you bring it out when you're battling a Pokemon weak to one of the types. The ability to use a wider spectrum of fighting attacks due to being part fighting types means it has more attacks to choose from, and many more uses than a normal/flying type. It can take hits since the fighting type is more resilient. Adding onto that, having a blend of two melee types means more strength. It can be a great HM slave due to the type mixture, as well.

Disadvantages: The types fighting and flying are weak to, but don't share, are obviously strong against it.

I think that a good pokemon type would be 'element type'(Sayd for gold and other minerals).
As to what it would be, it would be for new pokemon that are made up of elements, say gold for example:
'Goldbird'
'A very rare bird that is often mistaken as being a HO-oh. It's heaviness is it's gold body, but is graceful in the air'
anyways, an Idea like that would be pretty cool, I reckon.

I would make a Rock/Ice type Pokemon. It would have a really high defense to off set the many type disadvantages it has, and an ability called "Annoyed" which would increase it's attack stat everytime it was hit with a super effective attack. I don't know what I would name it though...it would have a similar body to Regirock/Regice, but it would be smaller, have a face, and have an evolution.

i would mix water and earth to make mud type

pokemon : GOOP
TYPE:mud
STATS:weakness ground type
if hit with fire move the Pokemon becomes a ground type
MOVES:mud bomb= a small ball of mud is thrown at the enemy and slows them down whith mud every where
EXPAND:stretches it's body making it stronger in defence and strength but lowers speed
rust=covers the foe in hardening mud disableing the foe to move for 3 turns
dig:well you should now what dig does it's a real pokemon move
this is harder then i thought lets see
