well I think I'm going to post my top 5 characters because I can't love more any of them:

Luigi
why: he has great character development he's funny has a vacuum cleaner to fight ghosts how you can't say he's not awesome?

Wario
why: funny as much as luigi super strength jumps as good as mario sometimes runs faster than mario can cause earthquakes only by punching the ground he earned the right to be the second place.

Yoshi
why:he's cute a dinosaur can eat almost anything he can float can make eggs out of enemies
and is cute
Waluigi
why: he's bad ass he's the Chuck Norris evil clone in mario world only this.

Fawful
why: he's funny, bad ass has technology to help him and in his last appearance he has dark powers transformed bowser's castle and peach's castle into giant robots he's basically eggman but with less seriousness .
