Most pokémon have a primary type & a secondary type. If they use moves of neither type, that move is of normal strength but if they use moves of the secondary type, they're as strong as the primary type moves. Do you think the secondary type moves shouldn't be as strong as the primary but stronger than non-type moves or do you think secondary moves are fine being as strong as the primary ones?

I don't think secondary typed moves should be weakened. A 1.5x multiplier is alot more than 1.2 so you wouldn't have to be wary with secondary tyoe attacks from pokemon any more and that would make the game even easier! Plus pokemon have their secondary type for a reason.

I know they have that type for a reason. I'm just saying it doesn't make sense for the secondary moves to be as strong as the primary moves since secondary usually means it isn't as important or as strong. It's more like a back-up.

But look at Lotad it's a lily pad it lives by floating on water, or Ghastly it is a ghost made from poisiion gas.

In my opinion, Lotad is more Grass based than Water based since it's a lilypad first(more like a duck with a lilypad on its head but whatever) so it should be Grass/Water instead of Water/Grass.

Gastly may be a ghost, but it's a ghost made of poison gas so it should be Poison/Ghost instead of Ghost/Poison.
