There are many threads here on favorite Pokémon. But why exactly are they your favorite? How are your favorites picked? Your answer will show not only how you determine which Pokémon you want in your party in games, but also possibly how you play the games. noelia : To be honest, I had that option for people who wanted multiple on one Pokémon. Having different preferences that you like equally but can live with just one; that's not being picky.

I try to be the ultimate trainer by catching them all, so any is good for me. My favorite is Charizard probably because he was the fisrt pokemon I ever used (Pokemon LeafGreen Version).

When making a good Pokemon team, I actually look for many things in a pokmeon. I look if it can learn many types of strong, poewrful moves that can detory different types of other pokemons. I also look for different advantages of that pokemon that can defeat my enemies' oponents, and also look the weaknesses it has. So, definitely the moves it can learn. I also look at the stats, but not not to pick my pokemons, just to look at.

I also like pokemons that look cool. Any pokemons look cool to me, so I am not very picky on their looks. I also like legenday pokemons, they are good, very powerful, and cool looking.

I like Pokemon that can make me laugh. Many of my favorite Pokemon were chosen from watching the TV show. For example, my favorites are the Gengar family. In the TV show episode about Pokemon Tower, the three of them were absolutely hilarious. Haunter was scaring the crap out of Ash. Gengar has his little fan. And they were all watching cartoons and laughing their asses off. It was really funny. So over time, I grew attached to them. =D
