I am a fan of sweets. Not candy just natural sweet food like teas, apples,bananas....that sort of thing. I like sweets but salty every once in a while is good too. Now salty mixed with sweet is win win as far as taste goes. MMMM MMMM!

That's to be expected from a taste sensation that's used prevent harmful stuff from being swallowed. I prefer sweets. I love them. I'll eat or drink anything that has a berry flavor to it. Salts are a seconds. They're good with a lot of foods that I like, but not all. I can't say I'm really too big on sour things. It's not that the taste is bad, but it doesn't provide any satisfaction with what I'm eating. Very few foods or drinks with a sour taste appeal to me.

You could throw the other taste sense in here, noelia. It's called "Umami". There isn't a large amount of foods that have it, from what I've learned, and it does have a funny name, but it exists nonetheless.
